00:00Yeah, there was a you never know.
00:04It definitely wasn't shut down, but it also wasn't like, hey, look, this is this is, you
00:10know, your future.
00:11This is the future of this character.
00:14For me, it felt very clear that it was this is Joaquin's movie.
00:19This obviously is following Arthur.
00:22So I definitely saw my place in that.
00:24You know, it's not like like, hey, look, this is this is where I'm going.
00:28This is who I am.
00:29I saw it very much as a part of that story rather than, you know, it becoming anything
00:36else after that.
00:39Yeah, that was very clear, I mean, because we do follow Arthur the entire time, you know,
00:43so it really is his story no matter how it ends.
00:45It is it is the story of Arthur Fleck from sort of beginning to end.
00:52And also, I was honestly just so excited to be there that I wasn't even really considering
00:57what that could mean or where that could go.
00:59I obviously know that the Joker has almost a huge following.
01:04I would even say cult following, you know, Joker fans are very into it.
01:11But I just want to see I was just kind of like, I cannot believe I'm here right now, I
01:14cannot believe that this is what I'm doing.
01:18It was also so under wraps that I really didn't know anything else about the movie except
01:24for that part in it.
01:28Which I don't think anyone on set knew anything about that, they were very serious about
01:33keeping everything on lock.
01:35I didn't say anything to anyone for two years.
01:38I mean, I I booked that like two years ago now, and I think we shot in November of
01:43twenty two, twenty two, twenty three.
01:47Yeah. So it's almost been two years ago now.
01:49So honestly, I wasn't even that far ahead.
01:52I was just like, OK, this is this is a big moment for me.
01:55Also, just working with Joaquin, like on any level, it's just like the coolest thing
01:59ever. He's obviously a great of our time.
02:03And I love the first one so much that just being a part of it, I was just like I was
02:08not even thinking about what that could mean, what that could be.
