Elon Musk needs a close encounter before he's ready to say aliens have visited Earth ... arguing UFOs are probably classified government technology, not evidence of extraterrestrial life.

00:00One of the more interesting parts of Elon Musk's recent interview with Tucker Carlson
00:05had nothing to do with politics.
00:06That's refreshing.
00:07Yes.
00:08Exactly.
00:09Because we've heard a lot from Elon Musk lately about politics.
00:13He has always been a very polarizing figure and now he's even more with politics.
00:18So let's get back to something he knows about, science and space.
00:22And rocketry.
00:23And rocketry.
00:24So they had a conversation about UFOs.
00:27The thing that always we know every time we put up a story on the website about UFOs.
00:33We've done several documentaries about UFOs.
00:36And every time you ask somebody, it triggers a conversation and whatnot.
00:40He is in a peculiar position to really talk about this because of the things he's done
00:44with SpaceX.
00:45Right.
00:46So this is why I think his take on it is really interesting, even though I don't necessarily
00:50agree with it.
00:51I think this is knowledge-based.
00:52When you say what are the aliens, what do you mean?
00:55Where are the aliens?
00:56Oh.
00:58A lot of people think we see aliens, but I have not seen any evidence of aliens.
01:03We've got 6,000 satellites in orbit and not once have we had to maneuver around an alien
01:08spacecraft.
01:09Right.
01:10I mean, there's always a bunch of classified programs that are underway of new aircraft
01:16and new missiles and things that are classified even within the military.
01:22So it's only if you have the top-secret compartmented clearance would you know about this new program.
01:30So then some pilot sees something moving fast and says, oh yeah, I saw a UFO.
01:35I'm like, yeah, that was actually a new reference program, but we can't tell you that.
01:40So I think that's interesting that he's exactly-
01:42Well, hold on.
01:43Hold on, though.
01:44And I know exactly what you're going to say next, but go ahead.
01:46Well, tell me what I'm going to say.
01:47You're going to talk about the Tic Tac video.
01:50Okay.
01:51Lucky guess.
01:52You're going to talk about the Tic Tac video.
01:53Lucky guess.
01:54And this thing can move at a speed that we don't know about.
01:58This was at 80,000 feet and it came down into the water in a second.
02:05We don't have, human beings don't have the technology to do that.
02:10That you know of.
02:12I'm just telling you that you can't explain.
02:15It's that leap that you make, he's saying that might be a top-secret government weapons
02:19program that you're not aware of the technology doesn't mean that it doesn't exist.
02:23But his point about 6,000 satellites and not having seen to maneuver around an alien, I'm
02:27not sure how far it gets you.
02:286,000 satellites in the vastness of space doesn't really tell you definitively one way
02:32or another.
02:33And by the way, you know, presumably, and I'm just going to put this out as a hypothetical,
02:38that if there were an alien spacecraft and they are sophisticated enough to go from where
02:43they are, where they live, to planet Earth, they probably have the ability to maneuver
02:49around these satellites that Elon has shot up so that Elon would never have to divert
02:56the satellite from hitting the alien spacecraft.
02:58Right, and none of those 6,000 satellites would ever actually detect this spacecraft
03:06entering Earth's atmosphere.
03:07You're assuming they're detectable.
03:09You're assuming they're detectable.
03:10Here we go.
03:11This is Gary's invisible alien scenario, which we covered this morning as well, which is
03:15they may not be detectable in ordinary visible light.
03:18Can I just say, you sound like Ferdinand, you sound like Isabella, and that's just the
03:24way it is.
03:25You guys do.
03:26Do I get to be Ferdinand?
03:27Charles?
03:28No, no.
03:29He said I'm Ferdinand.
03:30Everybody, everybody thought that Columbus was nuts when he talked about around world.
03:36And you know.
03:37But Ferdinand and Isabella funded it.
03:39So.
03:41They wanted him to fall off the book.
03:42Okay, but they at least gave him the money.
03:43Fine.
03:44Okay.
03:45But my point is that you can't.
03:46So do you want us to give you some money so you can go find these invisible aliens that
03:49are flying around Earth?
03:50You can make fun of this.
03:51You're poo-pooing the idea that there couldn't be intelligent life somewhere else and even
03:56more intelligent than us.
03:57I'm not poo-pooing the idea.
03:58I'm not poo-pooing that idea.
04:00Yes, you are.
04:02Yes, you are.
04:03You're mocking.
04:04I'm saying they're not here.
04:05You're mocking.
04:06I'm saying they're not here.
04:07Well, you don't know that.
04:08Okay.
04:09In this case, Los Angeles.
04:10Man, if aliens have the technology to reach this far, why wouldn't they converse with
04:15us or try to contact us?
04:17We got thousands of satellites.
04:18Not just with Elon Musk, but we also have satellites with T-Mobile, Sprint.
04:24You know what I'm saying?
04:25That's right.
04:26And that T-Mobile satellite would pick it up.
04:28Hold on.
04:29That's service right here.
04:31Let's say you were an astronaut and you went to some planet where there were aliens there.
04:38Would you just assume, oh, they're going to greet you with open arms like a welcome wagon?
04:42Or maybe they're going to hurt you, so maybe they have a fear factor, right?
04:46That's possible.
04:47It's possible, but there's centuries of proof of people seeing UFOs.
04:51You think they at least would leave some kind of trace or say something.
04:55People talk about Area 51, but how true is all of this really?
05:00Why are presidents so sketchy about it?
05:03That's what I want to know.
05:07That's what I want to know.
