The United States government isn't just shooting down alien involvement in unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs) anymore, a huge change from its decades-long position ... so says an expert who writes on UFOs.

We spoke with Marik Von Rennenkampff -- a journalist who writes about UFOs for publications like The Hill and MSN -- on Friday ... and, he tells us we're seeing a change in the language the government is using to describe possible alien tech.

00:00I was at one of P. Diddy's freak-offs.
00:03Freak-offs.
00:04You saw celebrities there that you recognized.
00:07They were a rapper that we all know.
00:10Straight-up porn directed by Diddy.
00:13I'm just grateful to have made it out.
00:17There's a guy named Jeremy Corbell, who you know, who really is the leader,
00:22or certainly one of the big leaders, in this movement for transparency.
00:27And Jeremy talks about the government embracing the truth so they can tell another lie.
00:35And the intimation there, the strong intimation, is the government's not coming clean still.
00:40What say you, and what came out of this hearing?
00:43For about 80 years, we have seen official obfuscation, derision, and ridicule of this topic.
00:50I think what we're seeing now, just in the last day or two,
00:54we're seeing a bit of a change from the U.S. government.
00:58Now, that is entirely separate from what Congress is digging into,
01:02and that's a much thornier issue, these long-standing rumors and allegations
01:08that we may have retrieved craft of non-human origin,
01:14and that we are attempting, the U.S. government or private contractors,
01:17are attempting to reverse-engineer this technology.
01:21I did mention just now, I said non-human technology.
01:24I'm very intentional with that word, because that is the word,
01:28and that is the definition that Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer
01:33put into 63 pages of proposed legislation that, in essence,
01:38alleges that the government has indeed retrieved craft of non-human origin.
01:43I think that's extraordinary.
01:45And this hearing, we had witnesses, and one in particular,
01:48who built on that and literally raised his right hand and said under oath
01:53that he believes that we have retrieved craft of non-human origin.
01:57So there was a 12-page report that the chairman, the chairperson, Nancy Mace,
02:03Representative Nancy Mace, presented.
02:07For some reason, Nancy Mace & Company took the first page off.
02:13They then presented a report that was 11 pages that they said was 12,
02:18and when they got called out on it, they took a blank page and put it at the bottom
02:23because they wanted to eliminate Jeremy Korbel's name.
02:26That's the only thing I can think of.
02:28Why?
02:29Harvey, I truly don't know.
02:31It's bizarre to me on its face.
02:33It's very strange.
02:34And to be crystal clear, Jeremy did provide this to Congress.
02:38The individual who testified, Mike Schellenberger, reported on it.
02:42So I don't know if some wires are crossed or if there's something.
02:45I hope there's nothing more nefarious at play here, but it is very bizarre.
02:49And yes, all credit to Jeremy for getting this to Congress
02:52and ultimately to the American people
02:54because I read through the report shortly after I had seen it.
02:58I read through the report shortly after the hearing.
03:00It's something.
03:02It deserves a lot of scrutiny, and Congress really needs to dig into it.
