00:00And the National Assembly of Venezuela approved a pre-temporary agreement that proposes the
00:06government to break off diplomatic and commercial relations with the Kingdom of Spain.
00:11The request was made by the President of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, in view
00:15of the Spanish government interference in Venezuelan sovereignty.
00:19The incident occurred after the Spanish oligarchy approved a motion in Parliament to disregard
00:24the electoral victory of President Nicolás Maduro.
00:27Likewise, on the ordinarization, Rodríguez noted that the goal of the National Assembly
00:31is to deepen the necessary transformations in Venezuela's legal area.
00:42That's why I'd like to urge this Parliament to approve by absolute majority in an enthusiastic
00:46manner.
00:47I spur you to approve as we are outraged, but concurrently we are aware of the value
00:51that we have inherited from the glory of our liberator.
00:54So it's our duty to pass an agreement where we peremptorily request that the Bolivarian
00:59government breaks off diplomatic, consular and commercial relations with the Kingdom
01:03of Spain, those lawmakers who are in favor of the agreement presented by Vice.
01:09President Pedro Infante, please raise your hands as usual.
