00:00The big five in life for mental health,
00:02it's clear, you need regular quality sleep.
00:05We know this.
00:05Every time somebody commits suicide,
00:07you look back at their sleep patterns
00:09in the days and weeks before,
00:11totally disrupted.
00:12So regular sleep is key.
00:14Sunlight, you need sunlight in the morning.
00:17It stimulates dopamine release in the brain
00:19and other neurochemicals that make you feel good.
00:21People are staying up late
00:22and looking at their phones and watching TV,
00:25staying in and not getting sunlight.
00:26You can't do that and expect to be healthy.
00:29The other one is exercise, movement,
00:32social connection, good nutrition.
00:34And that's just the baseline.
00:36And I think a lot of kids have been raised
00:37in an environment where they're just not doing that.
