02:26So not much of difference here as far as Jammu and Kashmir is concerned, but let's shift

02:37with people's pulse it had given Congress 49 seats as per the exit poll, but the actual
02:45result is around 38.
02:48It has gone much lower now as we speak exit polls had given BJP Alliance 20 seats in Haryana,
02:55but actual results are around 46 to 48 INLD it had given two actual results is on one
03:01others is not much of a difference there.
03:04Let's go to Dainik Bhaskar you would see the bars going down Dainik Bhaskar had given 44
03:09seats to Congress in the exit poll actual numbers are 38 BJP it was given 19 but look
03:16how big the tower is here obviously people were hedging their bets that the Congress
03:21would outperform the BJP in the assembly elections, but that doesn't happen didn't happen Congress

04:04had given no seats to INLD one seat in INLD's favor and others exit poll had given 10 but
04:13there is only five seats as far as the actual result is concerned.
04:18So there we have it Republic of Haryana Matris let's take a look at it as well well they
04:23had also given 55 seats to the Congress but actual figure stands at 38 exit poll had given
04:28BJP 18 seats actual results 46 BJP has outnumbered outperformed the Congress and the list goes
04:35on so on and so forth the question here is that whether the exit poll numbers can be
04:40trusted or not whether it's an exercise that all the news channels pollster agency is indulgent
04:46to just to hook the viewers at the end of the poll scenario there is a withdrawal symptom
04:52or not I don't think so at least for the general public as far as the elections are concerned
04:56they just go out and vote and come back and they forget about it but for TV channels publications
05:02and media houses it is important to retain the viewers so who have been staying along
05:07with them throughout the election season and hence these exit polls give you a sense
05:13of that who could be going ahead or not but if we take a look at the examples from December
05:20assembly elections coming down to a major looks of my elections and now to this it looks
05:25like exit poll numbers are not not matching and not hitting the right chord and at times
05:33they are wayward they are way off the exact number so we'll have to wait and watch whether
05:38next time onwards when the elections happen you have exit poll or not don't miss out log
