Sejak ditetapkan sebagai Warisan Budaya Takbenda Kemanusiaan oleh UNESCO pada 2 Oktober 2009, batik semakin mendunia dan menjadi kebanggaan Indonesia.

00:00On 2 October 2009, UNESCO officially established Batik as a heritage of non-human cultural heritage.
00:29A recognition of Indonesia's invaluable cultural heritage.
00:34The recognition became a historical moment that is celebrated every year as National Batik Day.
00:41To support the preservation and education of Batik,
00:45Indonesia's Batik Museum was established at Mini Indonesia Indah Jakarta Park in 2023.
00:52At the museum, visitors can get to know various Batik patterns from various regions of the country,
00:59through physical collections and interactive digital information boards.
01:04Among them is Batik that is influenced by other national cultures such as Europe.
01:11The sequence of motifs contained in each panel contains a close historical narrative.
01:17The tools, materials, and batik process are introduced to the public
01:21through the information available at the museum, including in the special audio-visual room.
01:30The purpose of the museum is to provide education,
01:33but also to entertain non-formals such as school children.
01:37We want to introduce Batik to the public, especially the younger generation,
01:46so that they can have a relationship with their own lives, with the lives of the people.
01:54Visitors to the museum are impressed by the various Batik collections on display.
