00:52Vite, le caveman et le puppete reprennent le tour de l'espace.
00:57Vite, le caveman et le puppete rappellent que leurs scooters ont été vérifiés,
01:02leurs instructions d'atterrissage ont été lissées,
01:05et la préparation a été faite pour toutes les possibilités d'urgence.
01:09Mais personne n'a remarqué que pendant le quiz de pré-atterrissage de Bleep,
01:15le petit Squeak avait gardé secrètement ses doigts bien croisés.
01:21Depuis qu'il avait complété le même vol de pratique deux fois,
01:25le puppete n'avait pas l'intention de vérifier à nouveau son scooter,
01:29d'étudier ses instructions d'atterrissage,
01:32ou même de se préparer à l'urgence.
01:35Pire, le coquilleux Squeak s'est amusé
01:39en regardant Scratch suivre les règles d'atterrissage de Bleep.

01:51They're off !
01:53Already, Squeak is in for trouble,
01:56for by neglecting to double-check his scooter,
01:59he failed to notice his fuel tank is nearly empty.
02:03Luckily, however, he is able to land and quickly refuel
02:07without being seen by Colonel Bleep.
02:11By this time, Scratch was well on his way.
02:14He had studied his flight instructions
02:16and was able to avoid a heavy rain cloud
02:18which loomed directly on his course.
02:21The caveman obeyed every flying rule of outer space,
02:26stopped at all stop signs,
02:31waited at all space train crossings,
02:38and of course followed all detour instructions,
02:41just as a good space deputy should.
02:45Meanwhile, little Squeak, already behind schedule,
02:48is quickly delayed again.
02:50Having failed to study his flight instructions,
02:53he is unable to avoid the heavy rain cloud.
02:58To make matters worse,
03:00his wipers bogged down from the dirt on his unpolished windshield.
03:05When, at last, the puppet recovers his bearings,
03:08good old Scratch is rounding the moon and heading back home.
03:13In a desperate effort to make up lost time,
03:16Squeak streaks for a shortcut,
03:19completely ignoring the sign which reads,
03:23Dangerous Passage, Keep Out!
03:29Too late, the puppet learns his mistake,
03:32for the caveman traps him deep inside.
03:38At Zero-Zero Island, Scratch skids to a halt to wait for his friend.
03:42As time passes, the puppet still does not arrive,
03:46and so Scratch retraces his course,
03:49and finally spots the familiar cowboy hat of the little puppet.
03:53As he is fully prepared for all emergencies,
03:56the caveman is able to free his helpless companion,
04:00and save him from a terrible fate.
04:05And so, thanks to good old Scratch,
04:08the careless puppet arrives at last, safe and sound,
04:11back on Zero-Zero Island.
04:14With a sigh of relief,
04:16Squeak discovers Colonel Bleep is still unaware of his carelessness.
04:24But seconds later, little Squeak receives the shock of his life,
04:28for Bleep is unveiling his very latest invention,
04:32a Futomic Photo Memorizer.
04:36With this clever device attached to the powerful radar scanner,
04:40the spaceman is able to make a motion picture record
04:44of the morning training flights.
04:47The puppet's heart is in his mouth,
04:50as he watches Bleep's movie reveal each step of Scratch's flight
04:54to the moon and back.
04:56Shaking with fear, Squeak listens
04:59as Bleep congratulates the caveman on his excellent flying.
05:03Then, the colonel turns to Squeak,
05:06and the puppet faints dead away,
05:09for he knows the next movie will expose his carelessness forever.
05:15But luck was still with the puppet,
05:18for Bleep had only taken pictures of Scratch's flight.
05:23Tomorrow was the day when Squeak's test would be photographed,
05:29and you can just bet that tomorrow will be different,
05:35for the puppet has learned his lesson.
