00:00Hey, it's weekend weather time and it's an east-west divide.
00:04So let's find out where the sunshine and dry weather will reside.
00:07So Saturday morning, a chilly start but mostly bright and dry
00:11across much of England and Wales.
00:13Meanwhile, across most of Scotland, particularly the north-west
00:16and over Northern Ireland, it will be cloudy with spells of rain.
00:20Now, through the day, rain will continue across the north-west of Scotland,
00:23the south and east of Scotland becoming a bit drier but staying predominantly cloudy.
00:27And rain as well across much of Northern Ireland.
00:29The Republic of Ireland will also see a new batch of wet weather spreading there
00:33and later towards western tips of Wales and south-west England.
00:37But the rest of England and Wales will continue fine and mainly dry,
00:40although it will be breezy compared to Friday, but still fairly pleasant in any sunshine.
00:45Into Sunday, we see wetter weather taking over from the west,
00:49so spells of rain will be spreading eastwards across the UK,
00:51most of it light and patchy over central and eastern areas.
00:54Further west, though, there will be some heavy downpours
00:57and overall it will be a cloudy and cool day.
