00:00You know, Kirk Cousins, 58 attempts, 500 yards.
00:07I mean, this was the NFL.
00:08This is what the NFL was hoping for on Thursday night football.
00:11Generally speaking, they haven't gotten these kind of performances, 66 points, overtime
00:15games, lots of scoring, fun game to watch.
00:18Oh, it was indeed.
00:20And I don't take, I don't, I don't give much blame for this result to Baker Mayfield.
00:28I thought he was really competitive, threw three touchdown passes at the end of the
00:32game, was scrambling for first downs when he was allowed.
00:36But the idea at the end of trying to run the Falcons out of time and timeouts really probably
00:43was not quite aggressive enough from the Bucs, plus a penalty in there really hurt them.
00:49But at the end of the day, the real problem for Tampa was they just couldn't get pressure
00:54on Kirk Cousins.
00:55He threw 58 passes.
00:57They sack him four times, right?
00:59But that's, he threw 58 attempts.
01:01So those sacks kind of get diminished.
01:04It's like in a 30 attempt game, you're getting two and you're only getting five quarterback
01:09hits out of Logan Hall.
01:11He was the only player who was really getting back there.
01:13The rest of the guys barely got near Cousins.
01:18And so as a result, he had plenty of time to find open receivers and he did a great
01:23job.
01:24But what Tampa did really poorly, more than anything, was once those open receivers were
01:29found, located and connected with passes, they didn't tackle.
01:33So it was a really poor defensive performance from Tampa all the way around.
01:38And they're going to have to be a lot better if they want to continue to succeed in the
01:41NFL.
