A family endured a terrifying ordeal when a gang of armed robbers broke into their home on Jalan Jagong in Pandamaran, Klang on Thursday (Oct 3).

Police are intensifying the search for the suspects and urge anyone with information to contact the nearest police station or call 03-3376 2222.

00:00Police have launched a manhunt for 10 to 12 suspects involved in an armed robbery at a
00:06house in Pandemaran Klang.
00:09CCTV videos that captured the break-in, which occurred at 5 am on Thursday, were shared
00:15by Sinchu Daily.
00:17In a statement on Friday, South Klang District Police Chief ACP Chahong Fong said the suspects,
00:23believed to be locals, arrived in two vehicles and climbed over the wall of the three-storey
00:27bungalow before breaking into the house.
00:30The suspects covered their faces and were armed with machetes.
00:34They entered all the rooms and tied up three occupants of the house before ransacking their
00:39belongings.
00:40ACP Chahong said one occupant managed to call the police and as soon as the patrol car arrived,
00:46the suspects made their getaway in the two vehicles.
00:50Upon inspection, the suspects managed to escape with cash, prayer statues and jewellery worth
00:57600,000 ringgit.
00:58A 37-year-old male occupant was slashed on the shoulder and received stitches at a private
01:03hospital in Klang.
01:05The case is being investigated under Section 3, 9-5 and 3-9-7 of the Penal Code.
