00:00Rasul Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said always keep food covered.
00:02I used to think about this, like why keep the food covered?
00:04And then I read that theory that says matter acts different,
00:08observed when it's not observed.
00:09Aisha radiallahu anhu, she had a bag of dates
00:12that she had hung up on the wall.
00:14And she used to pick dates from it and eat.
00:16And then one day it dawned on her,
00:18she's like, I've been eating these dates for months.
00:20So she opened it and looked and there was like two left.
00:23She told the prophet, do you know what he said?
00:26He said, ya Aisha, if you did not look at it,
00:29you could have ate from it till the day of Qiyamah.
00:32Why did you look?
00:33A lot of us, we keep checking the bank account.
00:35We keep checking, you keep looking.
00:37Stop looking, let the barakah happen.
