You see my cheating girlfriend had pulled the wool over my eyes for way too long and I want to be able to prevent other guys from making the same mistake as I did with my cheating girlfriend. I had suspected for a long time that she was cheating, I had a feeling in my gut about 2 years into the relationship that something had changed but I didn’t know what it was. My cheating girlfriend was acting very strange. She stopped calling and texting as much as she used to which was the first thing to raise my suspicion as she was a text maniac. Normally you couldn’t get her off the phone. That was next clue my cheating girlfriend gave off. It was her strange behavior with her phone. I picked it up to check the time and she went completely ballistic at me, saying I was being possessive and nosey! I told her to calm down as I was only checking the time and she was still like “Well you should of asked me, not taken my phone”. Hmmm looking back now it seems some of the signs my cheating girlfriend was giving off were obvious. The thing is though I cared about her a lot at the time, I didn’t want to think that she would do anything like that. I wanted nothing more than to believe she was a good girl that was faithful. I could no longer hold my tongue though when I was told by someone else that she was cheating I knew I had to do something or I would go mad. I called her out on it straight away but my cheating girlfriend was able to flip the blame back onto me. You see I had no proof. I made the cardinal sin of playing my hand too early; I did not gather all the facts and left my self exposed to counter accusations of being possessive, controlling and untrusting.
