00:05about some of the stories that are making the headlines in our print edition which is

00:08on sale now. We lead this week on the tragic story of a nine-year-old schoolboy from Falkirk

00:14who died suddenly after collapsing. The community have already raised over £11,000 to help

00:19with funeral costs for little Stevie McKinley and a memorial bench to be placed in his school.

00:26It looks almost certain that the SNP administration will delay a decision on its proposal to cut

00:31the school week meaning pupils would spend less time in the classroom. Bow House Community

00:36Centre has been mothballed and the much of the equipment given to local groups and schools.

00:41Not enough members of the public came forward to help the Greensmouth Association take it

00:45into community ownership. Three adult leaders who between them have almost 150 years devoted

00:53service to the scouting movement have been honoured with awards. There was bad news

00:58for the town centre this week with the sudden closure of Christie's Scottish Tapash restaurant

01:03and the new Calder Arms bar and grill. But there was also good news with a new face at

01:09baby shop Picolina after the owner retired and sisters and misters up for an award. We've

01:16got lots of picture spreads from events at the weekend including in Bowness where there

01:21was the big Roman day, Greensmouth flower show, a take the right route event and the

01:26memorial service for the 10 TA soldiers who tragically died 49 years ago. Historian Ian

01:33Scott takes a look at the celebrations being held at Christchurch in Falkirk as it marks

01:38160 years. In sport we've details of the injury worries at Falkirk's Dennis Muir FC, Olympic

01:47gold medalist swimmer Duncan Scott in Greensmouth who leads a training session for youngsters and

01:51a win for Falkirk Rugby Club when they played Stuart Melville's. All these stories and lots
