00:00Full-time here at Anfield and Arne Slott creates history. The first Liverpool boss to win eight of his opening nine games because Liverpool earns a 2-0 victory over Bologna in the Champions League.
00:13Their perfect start in Europe's elite club competition continues. They're in a very good position to automatically qualify for the next stage in the new league phase.
00:24Liverpool weren't at their best, you have to say. They struggled at times. They made a really good start, in fairness.
00:31They started on the front foot and took the lead in the 11th minute through Alexis McAllister.
00:36A good team move to McAllister who started it. Darwin Nunes played the ball out to Mo Salah.
00:41Salah put a cross in and now it's McAllister who arrived late to tap home, really.
00:47Liverpool almost went to a head, Darwin Nunes caught offside and then Bologna just got on top.
00:54Liverpool started struggling with the man marking, had to go long, couldn't keep the ball and Bologna put Liverpool under pressure.
01:01Alison Becker, the Liverpool keeper, made a good save. Bologna hit the post but Liverpool derailed it out in the end of the first half to Stronger.
01:09In the second half, Bologna came out and Alison had to make another good save.
01:14But then Mo Salah, after he put one just wide in the 75th minute, came up with a massive, massive moment.
01:22A real good goal to Bosley, played it to the Egyptian Trent Alexander-Arnold.
01:29A real good decoy run to allow Salah to cut inside and that he did.
01:35From there, Liverpool were seeing the game out comfortably after they went two goals ahead.
01:41Arnold Slott wasn't overly satisfied when he was addressing the media in his post-match press conference.
01:48He noticed there was room for improvement but there were some good performances.
01:51Ryan Gravenberch again was absolutely outstanding.
01:54So important to Liverpool when they were getting press, man for man, to beat that press.
01:59He was good, Ibrahim Kanate at the back with excellent.
02:02Salah, of course, coming up with an assist and a goal.
02:05He wasn't always in the game but he delivered yet again, Mo Salah.
02:09So, it's all good for Liverpool so far.
02:13But improvements still needed.
02:15According to Arnold Slott, Liverpool now face the challenge of the half-12 quick-off at Crystal Palace on Saturday, which will be a difficult game.
02:26I'm sure there will be a roll call tomorrow if anyone has picked up any injuries.
02:31But the momentum is continuing.
02:33Liverpool have one game before the international break.
02:35They'll want to sign off with another victory and stay at the top of the Premier League table.
02:39Champions League football returns to Anfield tonight and it was a successful result.
02:45It ended Liverpool 2-0.
