00:00Okay, this video is for my friend, Dreamer, who asked me why I never changed my silver
00:10server screen.
00:11I've never changed it.
00:12I don't know if you can even see my face in this video, but it's about this anyway.
00:19So when I took it off of my toes, which as you can see is plenty dirty, but when I finish
00:30cleaning it, it's going to be discolored, but it'll be clean.
00:36So I've got the screen in here.
00:38Now I'm going to start the water running because I want this water to get hot.
00:43And what I'm going to do is, so that my skin doesn't get chapped or dry because the winter
00:51is coming, I'm going to put on some gloves and then I'll start with the hardest part,
01:08which is the wand.
01:10So what I'm going to do is I'm going to use this portion of my hand, right there at the
01:15base of my finger, for the big hand.
01:18And I'm going to make that the seal on this wand.
01:22And then, since all the cud was deposited by sucking this way, I'm going to shake it
01:31in the other direction.
01:33Right now, the wand is filled with isopropyl alcohol.
01:41I'm shaking it and just a little bit of that muddy stuff gets down there on the ball of
01:48my hand and I'm going to let it go.
01:50I just let it drip.
01:52I don't let go of this so I can retain that iso.
01:56And I do it again and again.
02:00And you see it's kind of murky, the iso that comes through, because it's pushing the resins
02:09and all that stuff back in the direction from whence they came.
02:14Now let's see if this is getting, well it's not getting warm, so I'm going to turn it
02:19up a little higher.
02:21So here we go.
02:23We're done.
02:24We're doing this together.
02:31Here we go.
02:39Now, look at that.
02:41And I'll show you the screen.
02:43But first, I want to take hot water and run it through in both directions.
02:53And I'm going to put a dab of dish soap in there and fill it with the warm water, hot water.
03:04And then I'm going to shake that and do the same thing.
03:10I'm going to let the dish soap go through in that direction.
03:14Then I'm going to rinse her out.
03:22And it's ready to be dried.
03:24But I'm not going to dry it yet because I'm going to show you how I do the rest of the pieces.
03:30I do a similar thing to the mouthpiece.
03:34I put my finger on one end and I squeeze the iso in.
03:40I shake, holding both ends.
03:44And then I let it run out while I wipe a little iso around.
03:48I run hot water through it.
03:50And then to give it a crystal clear finish without spots inside, I drop a drop of dish soap.
04:01Shake it up.
04:04Rub it around.
04:10And rinse it out real good.
04:13Okay, crystal clear.
04:16Now, this hose is two and a half years old.
04:24I don't mean, I've used this for two and a half years.
04:29And I've cleaned it probably 20 or 30 times.
04:34And I'll show you how I clean my hose.
04:37And when you're done, there will be no smell of iso.
04:41So I'm going to take this and I'm going to pour iso in it.
04:46So that I have a nice amount.
04:49So there you see how much iso I have.
04:52It looks like about six to eight inches of iso here.
04:58And I'm going to shake it in each direction with my finger on both sides.
05:02I'm going to go back and forth.
05:06And then a couple times I'm going to actually shake.
05:12And then I'm going to let some golden liquid pour down the drain.
05:17I'm going to lift it up so you can see.
05:20I don't know if you can see that, but it was not white.
05:24It was not clear.
05:27And now I'm going to put a drop of dish soap in the tube.
05:31It cleans it.
05:36And we're going to run that through.
05:38Shake it in both directions.
05:46Let it out.
05:48And then run hot water through.
05:50Just let it run right through the hose.
05:55Now with this, what I like to do is I like to step outside.
06:00And spin the hose around and around.
06:03But I don't know if I can really do that here without...
06:06So I'm going to step away from the camera for one second.
06:12And what I just did was I spun it around and around like that.
06:17Just to get the main moisture out.
06:20Now we're going to finish up with a vacuum cleaner.
06:26That is the head of my shark stick bag.
06:32This is the handle.
06:34But I'm laying it on its side right now so I can use it to vacuum.
06:39That way first.
07:10And now we have a piece of tubing that is stained but smells clean.
07:25It has a neutral smell.
07:28We have a wand with a perfectly clean screen.
07:34I'm hoping you can see that.
07:36I'm going to step behind the camera for a second.
07:39So I can show you just how clean that screen is.
07:44It's just like brand new.
07:47And then of course the mouthpiece.
07:50And it's all ready to be put right back together.
07:59I'm popping that back in.
