00:00Hi, I'm Rachel Zegler, and I'm going to take you through my camera roll.
00:03This is a photo from the Heirs Tour, Taylor Swift, at Wembley Stadium in London.
00:14I was on reshoots for Snow White in June of this year, and I had the opportunity to see
00:19her.
00:20And this is my lovely personal assistant, Millie, who I love so much, who assisted me
00:25and my romantic lead, Andrew Burnham, on that movie.
00:28And we just absolutely fell in love with her.
00:30This summer was the first time I was able to actually hang out with Millie outside of
00:34work, and we did it in quite a way.
00:37This dress is from Annie's Ibiza, which is an awesome shop in London.
00:41If you're ever there, the girls there make it feel like you're on an episode of Say Yes
00:45to the Dress, and they're all giving the sweetest opinions on your dress.
00:48I'm also a really big fan of this woman behind us.
00:52She was dressed to impress.
00:53For this in particular, I was dressed as the Speak Now era, because that's my favorite
00:58Taylor Swift album from when I was a kid.
01:01I was really obsessed with Speak Now.
01:03It was also a very Snow White dress.
01:05Lots of flowers and trees and butterflies.
01:09Very sweet.
01:12This is the greatest birthday gift I've ever received.
01:16My best friend, DJ Katrona, who I met doing a movie called Shazam 2, Fury of the Gods.
01:21Maybe you saw it.
01:23You probably didn't.
01:24Nobody did.
01:25And so I made that movie with him and became very good friends with him.
01:29And for my birthday, because he knew I was such a massive Oscar Isaac fan, he took me
01:34to see The Sign in Sidney Brustein's window on Broadway, which was a play that my dear
01:40friend Rita Moreno actually originated many years ago, but they revived with Rachel Brosnahan
01:45and Oscar Isaac.
01:47I just love him so much.
01:48He's the star of my favorite movie of all time, Inside Llewyn Davis.
01:52He's also a very powerful Latino in Hollywood who has not had his career be defined by the
01:57fact that he's Latino.
01:58And he was one of the first that I really, really clung to as an inspiration.
02:02And he's just so super sweet to boot.
02:05This man has everything.
02:07He came up to me and said, Feliz cumpleaños, Raquel.
02:09And it was the most beautiful birthday wish I'd ever received.
02:13I mean, your hero wishes you happy birthday in Spanish.
02:18It's the most amazing moment ever.
02:22It's a very sweet photo.
02:24This is from my most recent trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
02:28I went for my 23rd birthday this year.
02:30I obviously have a deep connection to Snow White, and getting to meet her after having
02:37played her in the movie was a really emotional and cathartic experience for me.
02:42I have so much respect for the character actors and the character integrity in Disney, because
02:47I feel like I would be kind of terrified if the person who was playing the character I
02:52was portraying in a theme park showed up.
02:55She didn't miss a beat.
02:56She was awesome.
02:57And it was like the character plucked out of the cartoon, and it was a really awesome
03:01moment for my inner child.
03:03I don't think I can pick a favorite of my seven friends.
03:05I don't think that's fair.
03:06It's kind of like picking my favorite Taylor Swift album, which I did do, not two minutes
03:11ago.
03:12In the movie, the cartoon as well, she has a very special connection to Dopey, and so do I.
03:18Wrapping that job was such an emotional experience, because I had been with that crew for about
03:23three years, essentially.
03:25Three summers of my life.
03:26So wrapping and saying goodbye to that crew was like saying goodbye to your family.
03:30But having seen the film cut together now, it's like you can just see that love pouring
03:34off of the screen.
03:35And so many people deeply, deeply cared about that production.
03:39My Mikey boy.
03:43This is me and my very good friend Mike Feist, who I met when I was doing a movie called
03:49West Side Story with Steven Spielberg.
03:52And it was my first movie, and Mike was just the greatest ever.
03:56I think he's the greatest to ever do it, one of the greatest working actors right now.
04:00And he's also just the sweetest, most uncomplicated person in the world, the best friend a girl
04:06could have.
04:07I had seen him in his West End debut in a production of Brokeback Mountain with Lucas
04:12Hedges, and I had seen him perform his little heart out and be brilliant.
04:18He actually has, you can't really see it because the photo is in black and white, but he actually
04:22has a black eye in this photo, because Lucas Hedges' understudy, I think also named Luke,
04:27punched him in the face for real during one of the scenes.
04:30I went and met him backstage and he was taking off his makeup.
04:33I said, Mike, you missed a spot.
04:34And he said, no, actually, this one's real.
04:37And I was like...
04:40Yes.
04:41This is at Michael Kors' studio.
04:44This was on my 23rd birthday, and my fitting for the 2024 Met Gala.
04:49He designed this beautiful dress for me.
04:51And it was the people at Michael Kors' who brought in happy birthday crowns for me, and
04:57everybody wore them while I was doing my fitting.
05:00It was a really interesting way to spend your birthday, is like getting fit for that.
05:03You feel like a princess.
05:04It's the craziest feeling.
05:05but I had one that matched my dress and it was very, very fun.
05:08The theme this year was, like, sleeping beauties,
05:11reawakening the elements of fashion,
05:13and so we really wanted it to be this waterfall
05:17that was pouring down my body,
05:18and so it really, really came to fruition
05:20in a way we were very, very happy with.
05:22Oh my gosh, I sat next to Meg Ryan at the Met Gala,
05:25and that was so cool.
05:28She is the coolest person and so kind.
05:31Michael and I were trying to convince her
05:32to do a show on Broadway,
05:34and I really think we can convince her
05:36if we all rally together.
05:38This is a photo from an impromptu performance
05:42at a venue called City Winery here in New York City.
05:44This is a musician named Glenn Hansard,
05:47a man I love so much who's been a mentor to me,
05:50but also somebody that I deeply, deeply admire
05:52in the folk music world.
05:54You may or may not know him from the movie Once.
05:56He was having a concert here,
05:57and my friend Thomas,
05:59who is also a partner in music for me and a good friend,
06:02was playing piano,
06:03and I got called up on stage
06:05to sing a song called Her Mercy,
06:07which is from one of Glenn's albums.
06:08It was so much fun,
06:09but as you can see,
06:10it was not prepared to be performing on a stage
06:12in front of people.
06:13My hair is a mess.
06:14I'm not wearing anything fun.
06:17Performing live is my favorite thing to do.
06:19I hadn't done it in a really long time,
06:21and it was nice to stretch that muscle again.
06:23Live performance is the world I come from,
06:26so anytime I have the opportunity,
06:27it's not necessarily that I'm dying
06:30to get on stage and sing in front of a bunch of strangers,
06:32it's a muscle that I've worked out for most of my life,
06:35and it's not difficult to flex it when I can
06:38and when I have the opportunity.
06:40This is the world I come from.
06:42I used to be a wedding singer,
06:43so I kind of find it to be going back to those roots.
06:47Another big dress.
06:49This is Carolina Herrera, actually,
06:50and this is my sweet little puppy.
06:53This is Leonard,
06:54named after Leonard Bernstein,
06:56but also has many nicknames
06:57like Lenny Kravitz and Leonard Nimoy and Leonard Cohen.
07:00If someone's asked if that's the Leonard
07:01he's named after, I've just said sure.
07:03He's a golden doodle.
07:05He's a miniature,
07:05and in this photo, he is, I think, seven months old.
07:09This was November of 2023
07:11when we were embarking on the
07:12Hunger Games Ballad of Songwords and Snakes press tour,
07:15so I had a photo shoot for a magazine,
07:18and I had to bring my dog with me
07:19because it was very last minute
07:21and I couldn't get a sitter.
07:22It's the sweetest photo.
07:23He's just looking up at me,
07:24and he's my best friend.
07:26I don't know what I would do without my dog.
07:28He's so cute.
07:30This photo's so cute.
07:32Ah!
07:35Another sweet boy face.
07:37This is my dear friend Dylan O'Brien.
07:39I feel like this photo broke the internet for a bit
07:41because nobody really knew that we were toy.
07:44Dylan was one of my first friends in Hollywood.
07:46I got famous when I was 17.
07:48It was a really scary thing to happen
07:50to all of a sudden have so many eyes on me,
07:53and he was one of the first people to reach out and say,
07:55I've got you if you need somebody to have you,
07:58and he has ever since.
07:59He's a dear friend, fellow New Yorker,
08:02fellow dog parent, little Tony,
08:04and the first time I actually met him in person
08:06was the day of my screen test for Snow White,
08:11which was back in 2021, believe it or not,
08:13which feels like eight million years ago,
08:15but it was my first time being alone in Los Angeles,
08:17and so he took me on a drive,
08:19took me to a taco spot,
08:20let me hold his dog, Tony,
08:22who he had just gotten.
08:23He was just a little baby then.
08:24I think this was the era of my life
08:26where I was living in a basement apartment in Bed-Stuy,
08:29I haven't seen him in years.
08:30I feel like this might have been the last time I saw him,
08:33but I do talk to him quite regularly,
08:35and I love him dearly.
