00:37That's his only leverage, is to hold out and not play.
00:39The Bruins could have a gaping hole in net all year, I mean, that's his leverage.
00:43Well, there's lots of goalies that play, like, Corpus Chalos played in the NHL for a long
00:48time.
00:49Like, there's guys, there's players that can play in the NHL not named Jeremy Swayman.
00:53So, the league is going to go on.
00:54It does when all of us retire.
00:56So, there's a little bit, we can debate that, but the reality is, it's really hard to trade
01:02goaltenders right now.
01:04There's 90 goalies that think they can play in the NHL right now, or teams think they
01:08can play in the NHL right now around the league.
01:11The reason you trade Allmark in the summer is because that's when teams want their goaltenders.
01:15That's when they want to get set up.
01:16Beyond that, right now, everyone's kind of, or feels like they're set in goal right now,
01:21or certainly feel like they're set, or can't afford a $10 million goalie right now.
01:25Because don't forget, you've got to figure, one of these teams that wants them has to
01:29work $10 million into it if you are trading them.
01:32So, I think it's really, my answer to the question is, it's really hard to trade goalies
01:36right now.
01:37Especially ones that want to play 50 or 60 games, because most teams are set in that
01:42position right now.
01:43So, that's why I think a trade's still fairly unlikely, just because it's really hard to
01:49do when teams are trying to get under the cap at this time of year.
