सवारी गाड़ी पटरी से उतरी, छह की मौत, 145 यात्री घायल!
मैसूरु-बेंगलूरु रेल मार्ग पर बिड़दी-केंगेरी खंड में हेज्जाला स्टेशन के पास मंगलवार को सवारी गाड़ी के सुरंग में से निकलने के दौरान चार कोच पटरी से उतर गए। इस दुर्घटना में छह लोगों की मौत हो गई तथा 145 लोग घायल हो गए। रेल दुर्घटना की सूचना मिलने पर बेंगलूरु से एक्सीडेंट रिलीफ ट्रेन (एआरटी) साजो सामान के साथ मौके पर पहुंची और बचाव के लिए एनडीआरएफ, रेलवे सुरक्षा बल के जवान व अधिकारियों के साथ प्राथमिक उपचार के लिए चिकित्सा दल भी मौके पर पहुंचा। रेलवे के एआरटी स्टाफ ने मौके पर पहुंचते ही ट्रेन के कोच से घायलोंं को बाहर निकालने के लिए छत, खिडक़ी व गेट की कटिंग की। तत्पश्चात घायलों को बाहर निकाल कर दुर्घटना स्थल पर बनाए गए अस्थाई चिकित्सा शिविर में ले जाया गया जहां प्राथमिक उपचार के बाद उन्हें अस्पताल के लिए रैफर किया गया। घबराइए मत ये कोई हादसा नहीं था। ये भारतीय रेल आपदा प्रबंधन संस्थान हेज्जाला में आपदा प्रबंधन का प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त कर रहे कर्मचारियों के कौशल परीक्षण का एक हिस्सा था। बचाव अभियान में 100 रेलवे कर्मियों ने प्रशिक्षुओं के साथ भाग लिया।
