00:27The information came from the interview with self-proclaimed Chinese spy,

00:32Xie Zhiyang, in an Al Jazeera documentary,

00:36where he said that in 2016, he was recruited in the Philippines as a spy.

00:42Xie is now in jail in Thailand,

00:44where he was convicted of forced labor and human trafficking from scam activities.

00:49Alice Guo, who he called Guo Hua Ping,
