00:00For me, in the new economy, the greatest achievement is the social mobility.

00:10There are hundreds of thousands of poor children who can easily get higher education and specialised courses.

00:22However, the problem we have to think about now is how to assess the percentage of poor children

00:31who go to a science school, a Malay college, compared to those who represent the elite.

00:40As far as I understand, the majority benefit from the elite.

00:48Those who are public servants, political leaders, well-known businessmen,

00:54all of them are sent to the best schools, which are financed by the government at a high rate,

01:00which actually puts us in the most impatient and unfair situation.

01:08If a rich child is sent to the Faculty of Education, whether he is a Malay, Chinese, or Iban,

01:17he will be paid.

01:19In that way, we can compensate for the shortcomings.

01:24If not, the subsidy will continue.

01:28This result will be used to help the poor children.

01:36Including the richest children who go to science schools,

01:41which are helped and subsidised by the government.

01:44This must be stopped.

01:46This is just an early warning before the general election next month.

01:54If a country really wants to be fair, it must be fair to those who need it,

02:03including the poor.
