00:00Puat Zarkashi has taken a cynical dig at former party colleague Anwar Musa after the latter's

00:06prediction of a bigger win for Barisan Nasional in the Makati Bayi election came true.

00:12The UMNO Supreme Council member questioned Anwar's motive for making the prediction,

00:16suggesting he might be planning to leave his current party, PAS, and rejoin UMNO.

00:21Puat said Anwar's political future in PAS was pitch dark, especially after being left red-faced

00:28as Perikatan Nasional's by-election director when UMNO won the Ngiri by-election last month

00:33by 3,352 votes. Anwar, who was sacked by UMNO almost two years ago, had said BN would be able

00:41to secure more than 30,000 votes as the coalition had mobilised its federal and state election

00:47machinery. The former BN Secretary-General also reportedly praised Johor UMNO chief

00:53Hafiz Ghazi and the state government during the by-election campaign.

00:58Puat claimed that these were Anwar's strategies to rejoin UMNO, knowing it was his only path

01:03to regain influence. However, he reminded that UMNO was well aware of his ways.
