00:00Oh, I'd say so.
00:04The party never ends.
00:05Remember, we're in prime party season.
00:08I know a team that's definitely throwing a party tonight and is hoping to throw another
00:12party next weekend.
00:13It's going to be LSU and some fans may feel like I didn't give them enough love.
00:17Maybe that I disrespected them earlier because after a narrow escape to South Carolina the
00:22other weekend, and I'm talking about a South Carolina team who was just falling apart with
00:26injuries, unfortunately, they barely pulled off a win.
00:30But does it say a lot or does it say a little that they were going against a UCLA team that
00:34has had offensive struggles?
00:36I don't think they've really found their identity yet.
00:38Their quarterback is sitting roughly at like a 54% completion rate.
00:42So not much snapping there, but they didn't just get past UCLA.
00:47Very small.
00:48They actually topped them 34 to 17, had about 10 minutes more of possession time, almost
00:53doubled their offensive yardage in comparison to UCLA.
00:56So was this a worthy performance by LSU today?
00:59Yeah, I think it was strong, but on the flip side, I really haven't seen a lot from the
01:05Bruins.
01:06So how much can we really take away from this?
01:08Garrett Neusmeier, he needed a big performance and he showed up and delivered there.
01:12The star quarterback for the Tigers goes for 352 passing yards, three tatties, not giving
01:17up a single interception.
01:19So it was much better on that side of things.
01:21In terms of the run game, they spread the rock, receiving, I mean, a good handful of
01:25receivers getting multiple targets and getting it downfield there.
01:28So the offense looked a lot better for the Tigers of UCLA, 34 to 17.
01:33And take a look at the schedule here for LSU.
01:36They'll get to take on South Burma next week.
01:39That's an easier spot for them.
01:40But then it's Ole Miss, it's Arkansas, it's the Aggies, Burma.
01:43So things are getting a lot tougher.
01:45They got to start finding a bit more rhythm there, but I guess that's one big takeaway
01:49for me.
01:50Garrett Neusmeier, he looked fantastic out there, the quarterback for LSU.
01:53Yeah, he has a lot to be proud of, honestly, not to mention is that to see how hopeful
01:58he was last week, even though it was a narrow escape, he already addressed that.
02:01And then he showed how much work that they were going to put in this week.
02:04And I think that it translated to today's game.
