00:00What does that mean for Jamar Chase here, 81 and a half is the number.
00:06Is it finally time?
00:08Yes, it's definitely time.
00:12It's definitely time against the Washington Commanders.
00:14I think this is the beginning for Jamar Chase to have a massive season.
00:19And I think September will be a distant memory like it is every year.
00:23Every year, the Bengals stink in September.
00:25I don't know when we're going to learn.
00:27I mean, I remember Marc Pichera back in the day for the Yankees, right?
00:34He would be the worst April player ever.
00:36And every May 1st, you buy him and he was good the rest of the year.
00:38It was like the Bengals, the Philadelphia Phillies up until this season, right?
00:42Oh, a team that always struggled to being a struggle to being.
00:44And then they turn it on.
00:45Like, that's just who the Bengals are.
00:47But this matchup against that secondary Washington is so good.
00:50I know 81 and a half is a big number.
00:52I think this could be one of those big two touchdown, one 10 games for Jamar Chase.
00:56I see that coming here.
00:57All right.
00:58Speaking of two touchdowns, let's pivot to a quarterback now here.
01:01Baker Mayfield, one and a half past touchdowns here.
01:05So what do we think about Baker today?
01:07Look, man, I know this sounds hot takey, but the first two weeks of the season, Baker Mayfield,
01:13I think we'll get my MVP vote.
01:16He has been so good.
01:17He went into Detroit, pulled out a big victory there.
01:21He has been the leader.
01:23He has been the guy.
01:25He is making everybody useful as a good matchup here against Denver.
01:30Denver is an offense that is just awful.
01:32Bo Nix can't, and going back to that conversation we were having about the rookie quarterbacks,
01:36right?
01:37He's another guy.
01:38Should Bo Nix be starting in week one?
01:40No, he should be sitting, watching, learning, getting to a point where he's comfortable
01:45in practices over six months.
01:47And then next year, maybe starting.
01:50But we keep throwing these guys to the wolves and the wolves keep getting fed.
01:55This is a great opportunity here where Bo Nix is going to give Baker Mayfield's offense
02:00opportunities, short fields.
02:02And Baker knows what to do with them.
02:04Baker's mobile, Baker's making plays, and he seems really beloved by his teammates.
02:09And that is something that I feel like the maturity of Baker Mayfield and another guy
02:14too, who we could probably say that same thing about, which is these young quarterbacks,
02:19where they land is everything.
02:21He landed in a bad spot in Cleveland.
02:23It was never going to get any better.
02:25He bounced to Carolina, he bounced to the Rams, he ended up in Tampa with the right
02:30situation.
02:31And guess what?
02:32All of a sudden now, this is the team that won that division last year, beat the Eagles
02:36in the playoffs, and still nobody gives them respect.
02:39And I think Baker Mayfield lives for that.
02:42So give me Baker over one and a half touchdowns today.
