दिल्ली: भारतीय राष्ट्रीय छात्र संगठन (NSUI) के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष वरुण चौधरी ने प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस के दौरान प्रोफेसरों और छात्राओं की सुरक्षा और DUSU चुनाव पर दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट के रुख को लेकर जारी वीडियो में ABVP की संलिप्तता पर गंभीर आरोप लगाए हैं। उनका कहना है, कॉलेज चुनाव आयुक्तों पर चुनाव कराने में उनकी भूमिका को लेकर आरोप लगे हैं। मुझे आज पता चला कि कुछ कॉलेज इकाइयां हमारे खिलाफ विरोध प्रदर्शन शुरू कर रही हैं। हमारी टीम DU कुलपति कार्यालय में एक पत्र सौंपने जा रही है। ABVP से जुड़े शिक्षकों और बीजेपी से जुड़े गैर-शिक्षण कर्मचारियों को चुनाव ड्यूटी सौंपी गई है। अगर वे चाहते हैं कि DUSU चुनाव स्वतंत्र और निष्पक्ष हों, तो इन लोगों को ABVP और बीजेपी से सीधे जुड़े होने के कारण तुरंत चुनाव ड्यूटी से हटा दिया जाना चाहिए।
