00:00Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
00:03EFCC has invited Martin Soshe well-known as Veridakman and Idris Okuneye aka Bobriski
00:09following an audio voice made available on social media alleging that men of the Anti-Corruption
00:14Commission collected money fraudulently to drop anti-money laundering charges against
00:19Bobriski who in the audio voice also apparently played a popular Nigeria lawyer.
00:24Femi Falano and his music star son, Folarin Falano aka False Millions of Naira bragged
00:30to give judicial pardon secretly.
00:33Pardon of convicted prisoners are usually granted by the Chief Judge of a State, State
00:38Governors and President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria with public announcement or awareness.
00:45The authenticity of the audio voice has not been verified but Bobriski who is a cross-dresser
00:50has denied the audio voice, saying, it was a fake voice recording made available in the
00:56public space by Veridakman.
00:59My attention has been drawn to a fake voice recording circulating on the internet that
01:04I paid EFCC 15 million Naira's Naira and that I was never in prison.
01:10It is a very big lie, I served my term in full, discard any false information, Bobriski
01:17released a statement debunking the claims made by Veridakman.
01:22It would be recalled that it was a trending news when EFCC arrested Bobriski in April
01:272024 on 6 counts charges of money laundering and Naira mutilation.
01:33During his trial at the Federal High Court in Lagos, Justice Agimbola Awamoro dismissed
01:39the money laundering charges, counts 5 and 6 and sentenced Bobriski to 6 months in prison
01:45for Naira abuse.
01:47The judge imposed a 6-month prison sentence without the option of a fine, stating that
01:53the cross-dresser sentence would serve as a deterrent for others who mutilate the Naira.
01:59Bobriski began his jail term right from his first day of arrest by EFCC on 24 March and
02:05was released from Kirikiri Correctional Center on 5 August.
02:10If the sentencing was calculated on the basis of daytime and nighttime as a single day,
02:15it means he spent far less than 6 months in the prison but if the prison term was calculated
02:21on the basis of daytime and nighttime as two days, it means the cross-dresser spent more
02:26than 6 months in the prison.
02:28Veridakman posted on his Instagram page on Tuesday a leaked audio of the cross-dresser
02:33narrating what transpired during his jail term.
02:37In the audio, Bobriski could be heard discussing with a friend how the EFCC collected 15 million
02:43Nairas from him to drop the money laundering charges.
02:47It was gathered that Veridakman released the audio after Bobriski refused to repay 4 million
02:52Nairas to one of the people he approached for the 15 million Nairas he reportedly paid
02:57EFCC.
02:58The voice that looked like that of Bobriski in the leaked audio could be heard, saying
03:05You know I'm a very big influencer.
03:08I have over 5 million followers on Instagram and Facebook, and Facebook pays me every month.
03:15Despite that, the EFCC claimed I couldn't afford the 150 million Nairas house I live
03:24in.
03:25EFCC charged me with money laundering and took me to court.
03:29We pleaded with them, asking how much it would cost to drop the money laundering charges,
03:35and EFCC said N15 million.
03:38I couldn't use my account because I'm still under investigation and can't withdraw or
03:43transfer funds.
03:45So, I called a few friends, one of them was LLA, and I asked him which account I should
03:52use to send the money.
03:54I gave him my brother's account, and he transferred 8 million Nairas.
03:59I also called Demola in the US, and he immediately sent 1 million Nairas.
04:05Other people I trust sent money in, and we gathered the full amount, 15 million Nairas,
04:12we gave them the money, and the EFCC dropped the money laundering charge and took me to
04:18court for Naira abuse.
04:20Also, there looked a like voice of Bobrisky in the leaked audio claim that he was framed
04:26after.
04:27Receiving his infamous, best dressed female, award at the premiere of actress Eniola Ajao's
04:33movie, Beast of Two Worlds.
04:36He allegedly admitted to pleading guilty in court, believing he would receive a fine or
04:41perform community service.
04:44However, he said he was sentenced due to his guilty plea.
04:49The cross-dresser looked a like voice in the leaked audio revealed that after his sentencing,
04:54his godfather, in conjunction with the controller general of the Nigerian Correctional Service,
05:00arranged for him to serve his 6-month sentence in a private apartment.
05:05Bobrisky looked a like voice narrated further that, the whole issue started when they gave
05:10me the best dressed female award.
05:13There's jealousy involved, and when I got to court, I admitted guilt, hoping for either
05:19a fine or community service.
05:21However, the court sentenced me.
05:24On my way to prison, my godfather called and assured me I wouldn't enter prison.
05:31He told me not to worry and said he would arrange an apartment near the prison and speak
05:36to the controller general of prisons in Abuja.
05:39After the spoke, I was taken back and brought to an apartment where I was told not to come
05:45out until I finished my sentence.
05:48They informed the guy at the apartment that their boss instructed them to keep me there
05:53and not to let me leave.
05:55The guy said he'd collect 10 million nairas, so I had to call LLA again.
06:01LLA gave me 2 million nairas because there was no one else to call.
06:06Bobrisky's looked a like voice in the leaked audio also indicted Nigerian popular singer,
06:12Fals and his father, human rights activist Femi Falano.
06:16In the leaked audio, the looked a like voice of Bobrisky stated and alleged that Fals and
06:22his father, Femi Falano approached him to assist with his application for a presidential pardon.
06:29The cross-dresser narrated, I was supposed to be released at the end of July, but Fals
06:35reached out to me, and his father spoke to me.
06:39He said we could apply for a pardon, as my case is federal.
06:44He explained that the president could grant me a pardon, allowing me to leave prison without
06:49completing my sentence.
06:52The man, Femi Falano, initiated the pardon process and said he would send it to the minister
06:57of justice in Abuja, who would then forward it to the president.
07:02But, with Nigeria's corruption and everything, the lawyer, Femi Falano, said he would need
07:0810 million nairas to ensure the pardon clears my name from the record.
07:13However, I have no one to call for the money because I don't know which of my friends set
07:19me up.
07:20Onukoyede orders investigation of 15 million nairas Bobrisky's allegations against EFCC
07:26officers.
07:28Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Mr. Ola Onukoyede
07:35has ordered immediate investigation of alleged bribery allegations imputed to some officers
07:40of the Commission by Idris Okunyeye, aka Bobrisky, in a viral video circulating across the country.
07:47Okunyeye, an ex-convict had alleged in the video powered by Martins Vincent Oche, aka
07:55that some unnamed officers of the EFCC collected the sum of 15 million nairas, 15 million naira,
08:01only from him to drop money laundering charges against him.
08:05In a swift reaction, the EFCC's boss has constituted a team of investigators to critically
08:12look into the allegations.
08:14To this end, the Commission hereby invites both Okunyeye and Oche to make themselves
08:20available at its Lagos directory to assist investigators on the alleged bribery.
08:26The EFCC wishes to assure the public that the allegations would be thoroughly investigated
08:31and the result of the findings met public accordingly.
08:35The Commission is committed to its core values of integrity, courage, professionalism and
08:41collaboration at all times.
08:44Singed, Dele Oyewole, heard, media and publicity, September 24, 2024.
08:52Meanwhile, Folarin Falano, popularly known as False, and the son of renowned human rights
08:59lawyer, Femi Falano, son has given the social media influencer and acclaimed online police,
09:06Veridadman a 24-hour ultimatum to retract alleged defamatory statements made against him.
09:12The ultimatum was issued through a letter from Falano and Falano Chambers, demanding
09:18an immediate retraction and apology for the claims made in a post on Instagram.
09:23The post accused Falano of attempting to secure a presidential pardon for Bobrisky in exchange
09:29for 10 million nairas.
09:31According to the letter, the defamatory remarks were made in a post on Veridadman's Instagram
09:37page, which suggested that Femi Falano and his son, Folarin Falano, False, were involved
09:43in a controversial matter regarding popular Nigerian crossdresser Bobrisky.
09:48The post alleged that Falano spoke to Bobrisky in an attempt to divert justice and secure
09:55a presidential pardon for the sum of 10 million nairas.
09:59The letter described these claims as vicious, wicked and reckless, asserting that they were
10:06intended to tarnish the lawyer's esteemed reputation.
10:09It emphasized that Mr. Falano has never communicated with Bobrisky regarding any matter, let alone
10:16sought a presidential pardon for the crossdresser.
10:19The letter strongly refuted these accusations, noting that the statements were False, misleading
10:26and defamatory, and sought to misrepresent Falano's lifelong fight against injustice
10:32and corruption.
10:34The claims, according to the letter, suggested that Falano's advocacy was driven by personal
10:40financial gain and violated the legal practitioner rules of professional conduct.
10:45Falano and Falano Chambers made it clear that while Veridadman is entitled to his right
10:51to freedom of expression under the Nigerian constitution, he has a duty to ensure that
10:56any claims he publishes are factual.
10:59The Chambers demanded an immediate retraction of the defamatory statements and a public
11:04apology to be published across all platforms where the false information was disseminated.
11:10Should the retraction and apology not be issued within 24 hours, the Chambers indicated it
11:17would pursue legal action, including claims for monetary damages.
11:21The letter concluded by advising the recipient to address the issue urgently to avoid further
11:27legal consequences.
11:29Alright, in respect to Bob Risky, what I'm about to post now, a lot of names will be
11:35mentioned.
11:36These are people that I also respect and I believe a lot of Nigerians respect them as
11:40well.
11:41I am very, very disappointed in the agencies that are involved in this and I believe that
11:47this call recording that I'm about to play, even Bob Risky will not expect it.
11:52That is what is crazy.
11:54But all the people that will be mentioned, I don't care.
11:57You understand?
11:58I don't care.
11:59And from today, no longer respect for all of you.
12:02You understand?
12:03Because all of us are the same.
12:04And it's pretty obvious that in Nigeria, the law only works against the poor people.
12:09You understand?
12:10Now, after this video, I would expect that the EFCC will do a deep investigation on everybody
12:16that is involved in this case.
12:19And also, they will bring the whole officers that participated in this and collected and
12:24spent this money that is involved.
12:26Thank you very much.
12:27So, I will start by playing the call.
12:30As you can see, it is a call.
12:31Listen.
12:32Hello.
12:33I'm a very big influencer.
12:34I have over 5 million followers on my Instagram.
12:37Sure.
12:38My Facebook.
12:40And they are paying me on my Facebook every month.
12:47So, I'm okay.
12:50So, they were like, all this money cannot make me buy a house of 415 million Naira in
12:55Penok.
12:56And we are staying in a chevron.
12:59Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
13:01They should have put the money in the laundry, sure.
13:03They charged me to court.
13:05So, when they charged me to court, we had to beg them that, okay, if they want to remove
13:10the money in the laundry, how much would they collect?
13:14So, we should go and bring 15 million Naira that will remove the money in the laundry.
13:22Now, this is one part of the video.
13:24A lot of things will be unveiled.
13:26First things first.
13:27You heard it from Bobrisky.
13:29EFCC charged him 15 million Naira to remove the money laundry charge that was charged
13:36against him.
13:37If you remember, when this case against Bobrisky starts, there was a money laundry charge.
13:41But from nowhere, they dropped the money laundry charge.
13:44So, obviously, Bobrisky paid EFCC 15 million Naira to remove the money laundry charge.
13:52It's crazy that EFCC claims that they are fighting against financial crime.
13:57Do you understand?
13:58But they are deeply involved in financial crime.
14:01So, they removed the money laundry.
14:03Anyways, let's continue.
14:04There's a lot of things in this call recording.
14:07I called my son, you know, because I can't use my account.
14:11I wanted to send money from my account, but he said I'm still under investigation.
14:16I cannot withdraw from my account.
14:19So, I now called a few of my friends.
14:23You know Polanco?
14:26That Polanco, yeah, is my very good friend.
14:29So, I called him.
14:30I told him.
14:31I was like, ah, no, I can't do anything.
14:34I can't do anything.
14:36He now gave me, I gave him my brother's account.
14:39He now sent 8 million Naira.
14:45Yeah.
14:46I was a little shocked that he can send that kind of amount of money.
14:50He said, ah, Omo Gidinia Oshoma Vega is a very nice person.
14:55So, I called Demola.
14:57Demola is in New York.
14:58He is my friend too.
14:59Demola sent me 1 million Naira.
15:01Because I had to call the people I'm close to.
15:03People I trust.
15:04Demola sent me 1 million Naira.
15:06Demola sent me 1 million Naira immediately.
15:09He transferred 1 million Naira to my account.
15:11Then I called other people because I can't start making calls.
15:14Because I don't know who sets me up.
15:17So, let me not start calling the wrong people.
15:20Do you understand?
15:21So, I called the people I trust.
15:24So, the money I completed, I paid.
15:27Then I removed money laundry.
15:29Then I took me to court for spraying of money.
15:34So, you heard him.
15:36After I paid the money to ESCC, ESCC removed money laundry.
15:41Then I removed that charge and took him for spraying money.
15:45Do you understand?
15:46So, ESCC.
15:47You people collect money to drop charges.
15:48This is crazy.
15:49And these are the people that want to fight for financial crime.
15:52Tomorrow night, you're going to tell us that you want to arrest Sayabelu.
15:54Are we sure that if you arrest him, you will not collect money for dropping charges?
15:58Wow!
15:59ESCC.
16:00This is crazy.
16:01But anyways, it doesn't end here.
16:02Let's continue.
16:03The whole thing started from when they gave me the best female dress.
16:10You saw that video, right?
16:11That they gave me the best female dress.
16:14That's when the whole thing started.
16:16Yeah.
16:17That's when the whole thing started.
16:18From jealousy, everything.
16:21So, we should have gone to court.
16:23I should have told them that I'm guilty.
16:25Maybe because he will pity me or say, oh yeah, pay fine.
16:30I know.
16:31Or community service.
16:33Sadly, the court sentenced me.
16:38So, you know, I was on my way to the prison.
16:42Then my godfather called me and said, you will not enter that prison.
16:46Don't worry.
16:47Let me make arrangements for an apartment close to the prison.
16:53He came to call the controller that's over in Nigeria, in Abuja.
17:01And I talked to them.
17:02They should have talked before I come back.
17:05They took me to one apartment.
17:07I must not come out until I finish my sentence.
17:11That's what they said.
17:13They said you should come out.
17:16They said you should come and keep me here.
17:19That I mustn't enter there.
17:25But nobody should know that I'm not there.
17:27Yes.
17:28So, they said the guy will call him.
17:32Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
17:35Who is this Bobrisky's godfather that called the controller general of prison in Abuja
17:42and instructed him that he should not let Bobrisky to enter prison.
17:47And the controller general of prison now gave Bobrisky an apartment outside the prison.
17:54Do you understand?
17:55An apartment outside the prison that he should stay there and he will not enter the prison.
17:59So, Bobrisky didn't go to prison obviously.
18:02Basically, the prison obviously is for the poor men and for the poor masses.
18:07So, this is how the EFCC come and lie to us.
18:10Say they don't prove somebody.
18:11They don't arrest one big man for financial crime.
18:14But they will not arrest the man.
18:16They will not sentence him.
18:17They will carry him.
18:18Go give out one law somewhere and he will not enter prison.
18:21This is what is going on in Nigeria.
18:23Do you understand?
18:24The law is only against the common and the poor men.
18:28Bobrisky, one godfather somewhere.
18:30That godfather, he will come out.
18:31And the controller of prison.
18:33The controller general of prison.
18:35You have to come out and defend this.
18:37If not, me, I will continue rubbishing your name online.
18:39The controller general of prison.
18:41So, this is how they call you to remove prisoners.
18:44After the court has sentenced the prisoner, you will remove them.
18:47But that's not all.
18:48Let's continue.
18:52My name is Delira.
18:53I have to call Elinor and Kim.
18:55Elinor and Kim.
18:56There's nobody for me to call.
18:57Elinor gave me 2 million.
19:02The balance of 2 million.
19:04So, now, I'm supposed to come out in...
19:08I'm supposed to come out in...
19:10What's it called?
19:11Ending of July.
19:12Next month.
19:13Okay.
19:1429th.
19:16Bad guy.
19:17His father is a...
19:19He's a fan.
19:21So, his father reached out to me.
19:24His father spoke to me.
19:25His father said, we can apply for pardon.
19:28Can you miss?
19:30Okay.
19:31The pardon.
19:32The president...
19:33Wait.
19:34Fouse, the bad guy.
19:35I can't even believe this.
19:37Fouse, the bad guy, contacted Bobrisky.
19:41And Femi Falanoi contacted his father.
19:44And his father, Femi Falanoi, spoke to Bobrisky.
19:47In order to divert justice.
19:49And this same Fouse...
19:51If this story is true...
19:52If this story is true...
19:53This same Fouse...
19:54We have the audacity to come out and say he's fighting against the government.
19:57For oppression.
19:58That he wants justice.
19:59He wants Nigeria to be better.
20:01So that, like this...
20:02You just carry yourself.
20:04I don't want to believe that Femi Falanoi will bring himself down to this level.
20:09A whole Femi Falanoi.
20:11Where be Fela Loyal.
20:12Where be Fela Loyal.
20:13Where be Fela Loyal.
20:14Where be Fela Loyal.
20:15Where be Fela Loyal.
20:16Where be Fela Loyal.
20:17Where be Fela Loyal.
20:18Where be Fela Loyal.
20:19Where be Fela Loyal.
20:20Where be Fela Loyal.
20:22How much do you spend on your interior in total?
20:24Okay.
20:25Oh.
20:26Okay.
20:28Who are we to crucify the homosexuals?
20:31Most of them are done.
20:32They evolved from time.
20:33Everybody is a motherfucking hypocrite.
20:35Oh, okay.
20:36I see this diamond.
20:37Oh, now that song did make sense to me.
20:39Wait.
20:40This is crazy.
20:42Well, anyways.
20:44Let's continue.
20:45Hey, now wow.
20:46Nigeria.
20:48It's better that my case is federal.
20:52That's so that the federal can actually pardon me.
20:56That's the first thing that we can do.
20:59It's that if they pardon me, I can even leave here by next week.
21:04Do you understand?
21:05I don't have to wait to like ending up next month.
21:09Okay.
21:10Okay.
21:11So, the man started the pardon.
21:12He said he wants to send it to the minister of justice in Abuja.
21:16So, the minister of justice will now send it to the president to approve it.
21:21But you know Nigeria now.
21:22Nigeria with the corruption and everything.
21:25You take it fast to him.
21:29The man, they have to collect 10 million Naira.
21:33Jesus.
21:34Yes.
21:36Yes.
21:37That pardon will claim my name off the record.
21:40Off the record.
21:41Which is not bad.
21:42Yes.
21:43That which exactly.
21:44So, you know, there's nobody to call because like I have friends over.
21:50You know, you don't know who set you up.
21:52You know, and they've not opened my account.
21:54All right.
21:55So, based on this first voice notes, based on Bobriski's narration in this phone call,
22:01Bobriski is saying that Femi Falano collected 10 million Naira in order to wipe his name off the record.
22:08Wow.
22:09These are people I respected.
22:11These are people I look up to.
22:13Fauzi, bad guy, always talking about, yeah, I'm speaking up for the people.
22:17So, you are also involved in things like this.
22:19It's really, really disappointing.
22:21It's obvious that Nigeria might not go anywhere anytime soon.
22:25It's obvious.
22:27I have lost 100% respect.
22:30Respect for this.
22:32Unless they come and come defend this one, sin and lie.
22:35But for now, we'll take what Bobriski is saying as the truth.
22:39Because Bobriski said all these things like he contacted somebody to borrow him money.
22:44And the person recorded everything.
22:46Now, just in case Bobriski go and argue, let me drop your number.
22:52This is your number, eh?
22:55Now, wow.
22:56So, this is your number.
22:58Your number ends with 2208.
23:02That's what your number ends with.
23:03So, this is you.
23:04Actually, you cannot deny anything.
23:06So, EFCC, I will expect you people to do a deep investigation and bring all the people involved to the doormat.
