01:08In Moscow, Putin escalated his nuclear rhetoric, telling senior officials that the Kremlin
01:14would consider using nuclear weapons if it was attacked.
01:38That warning, as Zelenskyy prepares to request the green light to use US-supplied long-range
01:43missiles deeper inside Russian territory.
01:47He's expected to discuss that in a separate meeting with US President Joe Biden in Washington,
01:53presenting his revamped Victory Plan and appealing for further weapon donations and diplomatic
01:57actions to force Russia into peace.

02:05I'm determined to ensure that Ukraine has what it needs to prevail and fight for survival.
02:10Tomorrow, I will announce a series of actions to accelerate support for Ukraine's military.

02:23It's also about what Ukrainians do to make the most of a free and independent future.
02:28But the US president stopped short of mentioning long-range missiles, amid fears it could further
02:33escalate the conflict.
02:36With Biden's term nearly at its end, Zelenskyy will also be meeting with Democratic presidential
02:41candidate Kamala Harris, attempting to shore up support for Ukraine, not only for now,
02:47but also for the future.
