00:44Through a letter, Vice President Sara Duterte explained why she was not involved in the recording of the 2025 budget of the Office of the Vice President, Vice President Sara Duterte was not involved.
00:55According to the second president, the recordings were based on baseless allegations that she was involved in the privileged speech of Representative Rolando Valeriano.

01:10At the same time, she doubted the beneficiaries and it became a strategic partnership.
01:16According to the second president, this can be explained by the accomplishment report submitted by the OVP as support for its 2025 budget proposal.
01:26Duterte added that if she needs a formal inquiry, she should draft a House Bill to ensure that the discussion is only about this.
01:35She also gave to the OVP or BP that she lacks or is not clear on the legislative objective of the hearing.
01:44Duterte added that they will continue their coordination with the Commission on Audit.
01:50She also asked that this hearing be completed.
01:54On behalf of the chairperson of the House Committee on Good Government and Public Accountability,
01:59the chairperson of the committee, Representative Joel Chua, gave a statement that the hearing is not an attack.
02:07This is an issue of numbers that do not match.
02:10During the last hearing, it was used as a confidential fund by the OVP.
02:16According to Chua, the importance of the investigation now has exceeded the planned threshold in the law.
02:22It is important to have an inquiry to find out if there is an irregularity in the disbursement of the alleged fund and this is not about politics.
02:30Chua added that it is their responsibility to protect the country's fund.
02:35It should be noted that the OVP received P73M from P125M or 60% allocated of P125M confidential funds.
02:48Angelic, the interpellation is still ongoing here in the Commission on Audit.
02:55Earlier, the liquidation report was discussed here.

03:07On behalf of the Assistant Majority Floor Reader, Representative Paulo Ortega,
03:12they are looking for accountability from the second president.
03:15He saw that the OVP or the vice president is losing interest in this.
03:21Since this is a budget, he did not see the urgency for the budget of his office.
03:27The House leadership is implementing maximum tolerance, but he has his limits.
03:33It is expected that the 2025 General Appropriations Bill will be passed today at the last and third reading.
