00:00Many Filipinos say their lives have improved compared to last year.
00:04This is based on a survey conducted by the Social Weather Stations or SWS from June 23
00:09to July 1st.
00:1139 percent of respondents said their living conditions had improved, while 23 percent
00:16stated their lives had worsened, while 37 percent reported no change.
00:21According to SWS, this result is a net gainer score of positive 15, which is considered
00:27very high.
00:28This is 10 points higher from the March 2024 survey, which had a score of positive 5, which
00:33is considered fair.
00:35Meanwhile, Filipino families who do not consider themselves poor received an excellent score,
00:40while those who consider themselves to be in a difficult situation scored a positive
00:449 or higher.
00:46President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. expressed his gratitude, adding that he considered the
00:50survey a challenge to further improve service to Filipinos.
