Explosive radios in Lebanon: Japanese maker Icom suspects counterfeits

  • yesterday
Yoshiki Enomoto, director of the Japanese wireless communications company Icom, expressed concerns the two-way radios which exploded across Lebanon, targeting Hezbollah militants, may not be genuine.

Enomoto said: "We have a robotic production line and it's very fast so there is no time to set up an explosive device," suggesting the devices could be counterfeit.
