00:00The court ordered the former Banban Mayor, Alice Guo, to be transferred to Pasig City Jail.

00:07Guo's case is facing Qualified Human Trafficking in Pasig RTC, which is a non-bailable offense.

00:15The court dismissed Guo's charges while he was studying his motion to trash his case.

00:27The arraignment of the former Banban Mayor, Alice Guo, was not continued

00:32because of the motion to quash the information of her camp

00:35in violation of the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act.

00:38This is because she will be the first to settle before the case continues.

00:43The prosecutor will submit a comment on this next week.

00:47Instead of an arraignment, a hearing was held where Guo should remain.

00:52Before the hearing, the Pasig RTC Branch 167 filed a warrant of arrest against Guo

00:58in the case of Qualified Human Trafficking and other related cases.

01:02The Pasig RTC ordered that from the custody of the PNP in Camp Krame,

01:07Guo should be transferred to Pasig City Jail Female Dormitory.

01:10For Valenzuela RTC, Guo's case in Pasig is a non-bailable offense.

01:16Guo was first to face the Kapas-Tarlac Regional Trial Court for both cases.

01:21The Department of Interior and Local Government initiated the case

01:24after Guo used her position as a mayor to issue a permit to POGO Sabayan.

01:30From Tarlac, she was transferred to Valenzuela RTC to avoid being influenced by Guo's case.

01:36Under the supervision of the Supreme Court,

01:38she was transferred to OCA Circular No. 10-2024 or the Uniform Guidelines Concerning Cases

01:45where the accused or one of the accused is a local official.

01:48In the hearing here in Valenzuela RTC Branch 282,

01:52Guo's lawyer, Atty. Steve Pindavid,

01:55insisted that because the case is a high-profile one,

01:57her client should be kept in the custodial center of Camp Krame.

02:01But the court did not grant Guo's request.

02:05In the decision of Judge Elena Amigo Amano,

02:07Guo will be transferred to the custody of BJMP Valenzuela.

02:11Amano explained that this is because it is under the jurisdiction of Valenzuela RTC Branch 282.

02:17In the end, Guo's camp announced that the bail will be paid.

02:21Next, the court decided to triple the value of the bail.

02:25From P90,000, the bail will be P270,000 for each count.

02:30In total, P540,000 is the value of two counts in the Anti-Corrupt and Corrupt Practices Act.

02:37Meanwhile, the PNP is ready to follow the commitment order of Pasig RTC

02:42if Guo is able to pay his bail and bring him to the Pasig City Jail Female Dormitory.
