00:00Hi, I'm digital reporter Amy Seddon, and welcome to another edition of 5 Things to Do Next Week.
00:07First up, in central Lancashire, Preston Pride is on Saturday, September 28th.
00:13Taking place on the flag market, everyone is welcome as the city celebrates Preston's LGBTQ plus community
00:20with live music, guest appearances and a variety of information stands and stalls.
00:25The event is expected to run between 10am and 4pm and no tickets are needed, just turn up.
00:32Over on the Fylde Coast, the iconic English boy band East 17 will be performing at the Joe Longthorne Theatre
00:39on Blackpool's North Pier on Friday, September 27th.
00:43East 17 were one of the country's favourite bands in the 90s, spawning 18 top 20 singles and 4 top 10 albums.
00:51The line-up currently consists of original member Terry Caldwell and Robbie Craig and Joe Livermore
00:57who both joined the group in 2014 and 2019 respectively.
01:01Tickets are still available and they start from £26.
01:05Up in Lancaster, a mock and marvellous production of the award-winning musical Kinky Boots
01:11is on at the Lancaster Grand Theatre between Tuesday, September 24th and Friday, September 27th.
01:18This exhilarating musical, featuring a joyous score by Cyndi Lauper and a hilarious book by Harvey Fierstein
01:25will lift your spirits to high-heeled heights.
01:27Tickets are £21 for adults and £14 for under-16s.
01:32Over in East Lancashire, over-18s could be in for the best night out ever
01:37as Bingo That's Bonkers is on at Burnley Mechanics Theatre on Saturday, August 28th.
01:43There are two shows available, one starting at 1pm and the other at 8.30pm.
01:48Attendees can expect to be picked at random to join in on a wide range of party games
01:53and win some crazy prizes, with of course the most bonkers bingo session you will ever play.
01:58Tickets are available online for both shows and cost £21 for the afternoon and £17 for the evening.
02:06Finally, just outside of Lancashire, Wigan Comic Con is on at the Robin Park Sports Centre on Saturday, September 28th.
02:14Running between 11am and 4pm, hundreds of fans in fancy dress costumes are expected to attend
02:21as will numerous celebrity guests including Peter Davison and Janet Fielding from Doctor Who,
02:26Lee Boardman, Clive Mantle and Hackety Dog.
02:30As well as stalls, displays and meet and greets, there will also be a retro gaming area, a cosplay competition and live music.
02:38Tickets are currently at an early bird price of £10.46 for over-16s and £7.21 for those younger, although under-5s go free.
