The Prime Minister has arrived in Philadelphia in the US ahead of the Quad Leaders meeting. Mr Albanese spoke to the media, stressing the importance of Australia's alliance with the US, India, and Japan. The PM also talked down the geo-political consequences for the Quad if Donald Trump returns to office. Mr Albanese addressed concerns of China's influence in the Indo-Pacific. He said ongoing diplomatic efforts is what leads to regional peace and stability.
