After leaving Taipei, just over five hours later, we touched down in Bali. We planned our visit to the Island of Gods to experience both the serene northern part around Ubud and the stunning Bukit Peninsula in the south—where we began our adventure!

We stayed at the incredible Four Seasons Resort Jimbaran Bay, and after extensive research (plus visiting other resorts for dinner while we were there), we couldn't have made a better choice! For me, a resort should reflect the local area and culture. This 5-star all-villa retreat, designed like a traditional Balinese village, does exactly that. It's no surprise it's constantly ranked among the best resorts in Bali—simply amazing!

The Bukit Peninsula offers breathtaking beaches and cultural sites, all within easy driving distance. We made a list of must-visit spots, and the hotel arranged a private guide and driver—a brilliant decision! Traffic in Bali is... unique, so I’d definitely skip renting a scooter or car.
