00:06to debut the PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection
00:09as part of PlayStation's 30th anniversary.
00:11To do that, I'm being joined by someone who can show us
00:14exactly how special this collection is,

00:23Hi, everyone. Thank you for joining us today.
00:26As you know, the original PlayStation debuted in Japan
00:30on December 3rd, 1994.
00:33We knew that in 2024,
00:36to celebrate this 30th anniversary milestone,
00:39we have to create something that honors the history and joy
00:43that PlayStation has brought us all since the 90s.
00:47And I do mean all of us.
00:50Past and present employees,
00:52fans and players around the world,
00:55all of our amazing partners,
00:57and even colleagues and competitors.
01:00We've all shared and challenged each other,
01:03experienced so many amazing games and moments together.
01:06I truly want to express my gratitude and appreciation
01:11to everyone who's let PlayStation into their lives.
01:15Well, we are honored to be able to take this first look
01:17at the 30th Anniversary Collection,
01:19so let's take a look first at the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition
01:2230th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle.
01:24Now, this PS5 looks pretty familiar for me.
01:26Yeah, yeah, yeah.
01:27So, obviously, we bring the original gray color
01:30back to this PS5 Digital Edition.
01:32And then it's panel,
01:33but also the main body has a gray coloring as well.
01:35Nice.
01:36Can you tell me a little bit more about some of the things we're seeing?
01:38Yeah, yeah.
01:39So on the front, when you look at this space,
01:41it has the PlayStation 30th Anniversary printing.
01:45And then on top, there's a PlayStation logo
01:48in the original four-color version as well.
01:50Very cool.
01:51Well, my favorite thing that I've spotted already
01:52is I see something on the back here.
01:54The logo has been sort of updated.
01:56Yeah, yeah, yeah.
01:57So this is uniquely designed for this anniversary.
01:59And then we are printing inside of the panel as well.
02:03So maybe you don't notice about it.
02:04Oh, yeah.
02:05Right on the inside.
02:06That's right here.
02:07And then we also designed the unique Spartacus stand
02:09for this design as well with the color match.
02:11That's right.
02:12It's gray, the original gray.
02:13Very cool.
02:14So the whole package,
02:15you will enjoy the original flavor of the PlayStation.
02:17So let's talk about the DualSense.
02:19Yeah.
02:20So on the center,
02:21there's the original color version of the PlayStation logo.
02:23Looks fantastic.
02:24And you might be notice about the bottom color.
02:26The original colors.
02:27Yeah.
02:28So this has been done by Tokyo Engineering.
02:30Four layers of color printing on the family mark side
02:33and then three layers of color printing on the bottom side.
02:36I love seeing the original color.
02:37Make sure the original color is coming back.
02:39And then you might be notice on the grip side as well.
02:41It matches the inside of the console.
02:43Yeah.
02:44So this has the 30th Anniversary version of the shapes as well.
02:46That texture, I love it.
02:47Yeah.
02:48All right.
02:49And then is this the controller cable here?
02:50Yeah, it is.
02:51Look at that.
02:52Looks kind of familiar too.
02:53Yeah.
02:54So maybe you remember the moment
02:56when you plug your controller into the original PlayStation.
02:59This is the connector.
03:00I love that.
03:01So today we use USB-C for this charging cable,
03:04but we want to bring back some memory.
03:07When you start playing it,
03:08that's what we wanted to do.
03:10I love it.
03:11And it's also got these PlayStation-shaped cord ties.
03:12It's one of the few accessories that come with the bundle.
03:15Some stickers.
03:16We got a paper clip as well.
03:17It's kind of cool to check out the bundle all together.
03:18Yeah, it's great.
03:19All right.
03:20Well, now that we're done with the bundle,
03:21what is this over here?
03:22So let's pick this up.
03:23Yeah.
03:24This is a limited edition 30th Anniversary PlayStation Portal.
03:27I love the PlayStation Portal.
03:28Seeing it in these original gray colors looks so cool.
03:30The buttons.
03:31Yeah.
03:32And you can find the PlayStation logo in the original color as well.
03:35The same as the DualSense,
03:36we have this grip has a printing
03:39of the 30th Anniversary version of the shapes.
03:41And then what's this on the back?
03:42Yeah.
03:43So there's a printing of the PlayStation 30th Anniversary as well.
03:47Very cool.
03:48I love that.
03:49Now, does the Portal come with the bundle?
03:50No.
03:51Portal is sold separately.
03:52And the DualSense is available separately as well.
03:55Very cool.
03:56All right.
03:57Well, let's go ahead and take a look at the PlayStation 5 Pro
03:5830th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle.
04:00This looks fantastic.
04:02It is so excited to see the Pro in those original colors.
04:04But what else is going on with the Pro that you can tell me about?
04:06Yeah.
04:07So the difference from the original standard version is
04:09each individual unit has a unit number.
04:12Nice.
04:13Because we are going to sell 1,200 to 300 units globally only.
04:1812,300 for the anniversary date for 12th, 30th, December 3rd.
04:22And then we also have an embossed printing
04:25of the PlayStation 30th Anniversary logo.
04:28Let's pick that up and take a look at it.
04:30Very cool.
04:31So this is different from the original PS5.
04:33Yeah.
04:34Love that.
04:35Nice.
04:36Well, it's got the gray vertical stand
04:37and some of the same accessories as the PS5 bundle.
04:38But this has all the features of the PlayStation.
04:40Yeah.
04:41So this is the PS5 Pro.
04:42So it comes with a 2TB SSD and a Wi-Fi 7 network capability as well.
04:46Nice.
04:47Well, I know what also sets this bundle apart is
04:49we got the charging station and the DualSense head wireless controller.
04:52So this DualSense is also a special version as well.
04:54So the 30th Anniversary shapes are printed on the touchpad.
04:58Let's move.
04:59And then look.
05:00This is the future ruler.
05:02Oh, the texture on it.
05:03Yeah.
05:04The symbols.
05:05Very cool.
05:06So we knew two controllers coming to this bundle as well.
05:10So we painted the charging station with the original color as well.
05:13And look at this case for the DualSense Edge.
05:16It has the original color family mark in the front.
05:20And then on the back, there's the 30th Anniversary symbols as well.
05:24Now, the DualSense Edge is also available separately
05:27like the DualSense and PlayStation Portal, correct?
05:29That is correct.
05:30Very cool.
05:31Well, it has been so much fun checking out the full collection.
