00:00Department of Budget and Management or DBM, Secretary Amena Pangandaman approved an authority to purchase motor vehicles or APMV
00:09totaling to almost 400 million pesos to enhance the capabilities of the Philippine National Police or PNP.
00:17This funding will enable the procurements of 402 vehicles including patrol jeeps, personal carriers, and motorcycles.
00:26Secretary Pangandaman stated a well-equipped police force is better positioned in promoting public safety.
00:33The fund will be coming from the PNP's budget under the 2024 General Appropriations Act.
