Nilai tukar (kurs) rupiah pada perdagangan hari ini, Kamis (19/9/2024) ditutup menguat ke level Rp15.239 per USD. Mata uang garuda menguat 96 poin atau 0,63 persen.
Pengamat pasar uang, Ibrahim Assuaibi, menilai melemahnya dolar AS dipengaruhi pemangkasan suku bunga Federal Reserve (The Fed) sebesar 50 bps di kisaran 4,75-5,00 persen, dengan alasan keyakinan yang lebih besar bahwa inflasi akan terus surut ke target tahunan bank sentral AS sebesar 2 persen.
