00:00Supernova promotes and manages initiatives for urban regeneration, particularly along the Brennero axis and in general in Northern Italy.
00:14Our CEO is the entrepreneur Paolo Signoretti.
00:18We have several initiatives in development in various cities in Northern Italy,
00:24in particular in the city of Pavia, with the regeneration of the ex-Necchi area.
00:31We also have the ex-tobacco factory in Verona,
00:35the ex-Cannossian complex in Bergamo and the ex-Kornia foundry area in Modena and so on.
00:43Supernova's business model is based on a sustainable development model.
00:50We start from an environmental sustainability,
00:53which consists in particular in the regeneration and therefore the improvement of the various sites that can be polluted,
01:01typical of industrial exiles for example,
01:05and in general we create new destinations and above all of inclusion and security,
01:13therefore for social sustainability,
01:16which are new green areas, public parks, new pedestrian connections,
01:21spaces in general dedicated to public areas and services for the community.
01:29In particular, today we have talked about the urban master plan,
01:35which is in development in the city of Pavia, specifically on the former railway ladder.
01:42There, last year, we participated in a project with some schools in the city of Pavia,
01:50ranging from elementary school to high school.
01:57They were children, boys between 4 and 18 years old,
02:01who worked with us, with the municipality of Pavia and with Arup,
02:06the Lego Foundation and the Bernard van der Leer Foundation,
02:12to design and imagine the city of the future,
02:17specifically what will be the regeneration of the railway ladder.
02:23So, through the game, they gave input, suggestions, ideas for the design,
02:30in particular on the area of the public park,
02:33which is imagined by the master plan as a large green area,
02:38with pedestrian connections, playgrounds, sports facilities and so on.
02:44Supernova won the competition for the master plan
02:49dedicated to the regeneration of the former railway ladder of Pavia,
02:53but the competition was banned by the FES and the urban systems,
02:58and won the master plan with the project Pavia Next Gen,
03:04which includes the areas of the former ladder, which are called Rismondo and Scalo di Rieste.
03:11It works on the development of the master plan with a series of professionals from an international level,
03:19namely SARUP, MCA Architects and Ottolini Studios.
03:24Urban regeneration also means the regeneration of social fabric.
03:28The regenerations we deal with are often wounds,
03:33urban gaps within urban and extra-urban contexts,
03:38or right next to the historical center.
03:41This means creating new opportunities for everyone,
03:46and above all working on the concepts of social inclusion and security.
03:51So the creation of new green areas, public parks, new connections,
03:58so sweet mobility in our case,
04:00serve to create new places of aggregation,
04:04where people feel integrated, safe,
04:09and where there can also be an exchange between generations.
04:13All the initiatives of urban regeneration in Supernova
04:17are aimed at a fundamental goal, which is to create value.
04:22To create value for everyone, not only for the company itself,
04:27the stakeholders, the institutions and the public entities of the place,
04:32but for the community and all the citizens,
04:35for those who will go to live in these new places of destination,
04:39because our mission is to be creators of new places.
