00:00The reigning national champs in Michigan, now looking for answers.
00:09Lee Seaguy, what do you think Michigan looks like today, still in the big house against
00:14Arkansas State?
00:15The 23 game home win streak snapped last week, does a new streak start today?
00:20You can see the odds favor the Wolverines by 23 and a half, and if so, how large is
00:25the margin of victory today for the Maize and Blue?
00:27I think they win, but they might struggle to cover the number again, an emotional letdown
00:31after losing to a top ten opponent in regards to Texas, the fact that they couldn't run
00:36the football consistently, they still have no offensive identity with Jerome Moore as
00:41head coach, even though they want to try and run it, it hasn't been there, and that's put
00:45pressure on Davis Warren and the quarterbacks even orgy when he's in there, so they need
00:50to stay in manageable third downs, Arkansas State is very good 2-0 overall, very good
00:55in regards to the secondary, Kev Given, and holding opposing offenses to only 198 passing
01:01yards per game, this isn't a game I'm going to bet, but again, I would take the 23 points,
01:07Michigan wins, but I think Arkansas State covers here.
01:10So this is a spot for me where I am involved with Michigan in the futures market, we know
01:16this, and last week went as bad as possible, but it was a specifically bad game in that
01:22I was more disappointed and let down because I just want Alex Orgy to play quarterback.
01:29I know that I'm not there at practices, and obviously somehow Davis Warren won this job.
01:35Today they are playing Arkansas State, who is allowing the fourth most yards per carry
01:39of any team at the FBS level, with their opponents being Tulsa and Central Arkansas.
01:45If Alex Orgy is not on the field for 50% of the game, I don't know what's going on.
01:51I don't know what's going on, there's no way Alex Orgy is not out there.
01:57Is this a 6.2 yards per rush they're giving up?
02:00Is this the game Edwards or Mullings break out?
02:03Forget them, let Alex Orgy play quarterback and running back, 10 on 11, I don't care.
02:09If this is Davis Warren throwing the ball 25 times, I'm going to go nuts.
02:12I don't...
02:13It can't be.
02:14And so we talked about it with Ben's top 10, the fact that Michigan had fallen out of the
02:17top 10 not even in the wait list.
02:19That is damning to me.
02:21That last week, Davis Warren, against Texas, threw for 204 yards, a touchdown on the final
02:26drive of the game, and two interceptions.
02:29And 78 of those 204 came on that final offensive drive for Michigan.
02:34So Davis Warren and his two starts this year for the Wolverines, a buck 18 against Fresno
02:39State, a buck 28 last week against Texas.
02:43And Alex Orgy, who we all thought could factor into the offensive scheme last week for the
02:47Maize and Blue, did not attempt to pass.
02:49At least he threw a touchdown in a creative offensive set to Donovan Edwards against the
02:54Bulldogs in the season opener.
02:57Two more areas of concern for Michigan.
02:5980 rushing yards last week against Texas' front, only 3.5 yards per pop.
03:04They should be able to run it at will against Arkansas State, not worried about that.
03:09But then you look at what the defense has done.
03:12They allowed both Quinn Ewers and Mikey Keene to throw for more than 200 yards.
03:17Six of the last seven quarterbacks, the Maize and Blue have played, have thrown for over
03:21200, when the first nine last year did not reach the 200-yard marker.
03:27And Jalen Rayner is not the ilk of Quinn Ewers, might not even be that for Mikey Keene, but
03:32he's a dynamic quarterback for Arkansas State.
03:34255 and two touchdowns through the air last week, 73 rushing yards against Tulsa.
03:39This line is working, by the way, back to the side of the Red Wolves.
03:43It's 21-and-a-half now in favor of Michigan.
03:47You saw their odds for Michigan, now 25-to-1 to win the Big Ten.
03:52It does not appear as though the Maize and Blue will win their fourth consecutive conference
03:56crown.
