00:00I'm on social media, anybody who's telling me they love the Eagles, and again, I understand
00:06people are going to get things right or wrong, but what could you possibly gain by loving
00:11the Eagles?
00:12Like, what has anybody seen to love anyone, maybe outside of the Saints, and I don't even
00:16trust that, in the NFL.
00:18And so what happens in the game is just like every other game we've seen, it comes down
00:22to a play or two that goes wrong for one team, right for another.
00:27The things that went wrong for the Falcons, Matt, last week, went wrong for Philadelphia
00:31yesterday.
00:32You know, coaching may have cost them the win, yes, but they were not covering that
00:36spread at any point, really, throughout the game.
00:40So my takeaway from this is I guess I gotta find a way to back the Eagles next week and
00:45fade the Falcons?
00:46Like, I mean, that's just kind of what I'm looking at here.
00:48Yeah, that's what it feels like, and you know, Falcons are in primetime again next week against
00:53the Chiefs.
00:55We know primetime games often go under, so that's another wrinkle that you could throw
00:59into that.
01:00But you're right, as far as that game, I mean, those two teams were even.
01:04The Falcons were gashing the Eagles all night against the run, and the only reason it looked
01:09like they weren't doing more throwing the balls, because Kirk Cousins, you know, didn't
01:13look good at all.
01:14I'm seeing all these social media clips.
01:16He can't push off on his right leg.
01:18Look at all these receivers he's missing.
01:19Well, I tell you what, on that last drive, he looked pretty good.
01:23On the drive, a couple drives before that, he looked pretty good.
01:26So I don't know what to make of it.
01:28It's time to drive.
01:29It's not even game to game anymore, and you just gotta try to figure out what's going
01:34on.
01:35And it's very, very difficult, especially when you get into these primetime games.
01:40We know Thursday nights are wacky.
01:41I swear now, Monday night's just as wacky.
01:45It's getting tough out there.
