00:03 Okay, so is this the NFC Championship preview?
00:07 A lot of people think it is.
00:08 They probably have not watched the NFL in the last 30 years.
00:10 It doesn't always work out like that, but these are definitely
00:12 the best two teams in the NFC playing this week.
00:16 San Francisco at Philadelphia, potentially home field on the
00:20 line if both teams advance to the end.
00:22 The 49ers, two and a half on Fandul, some spots, it's up to
00:26 three. The total is 46 and a half.
00:30 It feels to me, Jacob, like everything is pulling me toward
00:34 the Eagles. Everything in the way, like getting points at
00:37 home. How is this possible?
00:38 So usually when that's the case, I go the other way.
00:40 What do you think about this game?
00:42 I think you should 100% go the other way because I think this
00:46 is a little bit of a trap line because people will look at
00:49 the record of the Eagles, look at the fact that they're at
00:51 home, like you said, and say, why are they underdogs against
00:54 the 49ers?
00:55 There's a pretty simple reason for that.
00:57 San Francisco had that three-game losing streak in the
01:00 middle of the season, but it came when they weren't healthy.
01:02 They didn't have Debo Samuel.
01:04 They didn't have Trent Williams, who I think has been their
01:06 most important player this year because of the protection
01:09 he provides for Brock Purdy and Christian McCaffrey.
01:11 But the 49ers are now fully healthy on offense.
01:14 Their defense is much better with Chase Young on that pass
01:17 rush, and I think they're going to match up pretty well against
01:20 the Eagles in this one because the Eagles secondary hasn't
01:22 been as good this year.
01:24 And the other thing is the Eagles might be 10-1, but they
01:27 have had a lot of close calls in recent weeks.
01:30 I believe they've been trailing at halftime in each of their
01:32 last four games and they've managed to win all of them.
01:36 Somehow their only losses come against the Jets, but they
01:39 had that game against Dallas where Dallas was tackled at
01:42 the one-yard line a couple times with a chance to score a
01:45 go-ahead touchdown or at least tie the game.
01:48 We've also seen them against the Bills last week.
01:52 It really looked like Buffalo was in control of that game
01:54 and then Philadelphia clawed its way back in, but I think
01:58 it was more missed opportunities by the Bills that kind of
02:01 let the Eagles get back in there than it was the Eagles fighting
02:03 back in there.
02:04 I don't think the 49ers will give them room for that sort
02:08 of comeback this time.
02:09 So I don't think this will be a blowout or anything, but
02:11 I think that 49ers will win fairly comfortably.
02:14 The Eagles are due for a little regression.
