The Hope & Anchor in Bristol dates all the way back to the 1850s, according to its landlord Adrian Youdell.
The publican took on the historic pub on Jacob's Wells Road in Hotwells around a year and a half ago.
And he has just scooped the accolade of having the most dog-friendly pub in the South West.
