BBC Proms Bristol: The lively scenes at the harbourside as Jump Street Band launched the musical event

Bristol Beacon is set to host BBC Proms over the long weekend (August 24 to 26).

This will be the first time the full-scale event will be held in the South West.

To launch BBC Proms, a lively ensemble led by marching musicians from Bristol’s Jump Street Band, supported by members of the Proms team, Bristol Beacon staff and supporters, greeted commuters at the harbourside with a special celebratory musical medley Proms parade.
