అకాల వర్షాలు విజయవాడ ప్రజానికాన్ని కోలుకోలేని దెబ్బకొట్టాయి. ప్రభుత్వ పాఠశాలల్లో కూడా తీవ్ర విషాద పరిస్థితులు చోటుచేసుకున్నాయి. విద్యార్ధుల నోట్ పుస్తకాలు, టెక్స్ట్ పుస్తకాలు పూర్తిగా తడిసిపోవడంతో వాటిని విద్యార్ధులు ఎండకు ఆరబెట్టుకున్న తీరు దయనీయంగా మారింది.
Untimely rains have dealt an irreparable blow to the people of Vijayawada. Even in government schools there are serious tragic situations. As the note books and text books of the students got completely wet, the way the students dried them in the sun became pathetic.
