00:00The Department of Agriculture has confirmed that antibodies have been produced in some pigs

00:05that were vaccinated with the African Swine Fever vaccine in Lobo, Batangas.

00:09Some HogRacers groups have also appealed to speed up the vaccination against ASF.

00:21Antibody components have been found in the blood of some pigs

00:25that were vaccinated with the African Swine Fever vaccine in Lobo, Batangas.

00:30According to the Department of Agriculture,

00:33of the 35 pigs that were given the Avac vaccine,

00:3818 were able to produce more than 40% of the antibody components to fight ASF.

00:56It can help fight ASF. It's only 14 days.

01:01But the mere fact that it reacted and produced antibodies instead of zero antibodies,

01:09means that it was effective when we vaccinated 30 pigs.

01:14Some HogRacers groups appealed to speed up the vaccination against ASF

01:20and to allow its commercial use.

01:23ASF is already affected by the pigs being the main business here.

01:30Our countrymen are losing their livestock and their livelihoods quickly.
