00:00PhilHealth will also pay for patients with leptospirosis and dengue
00:07due to its impact on Filipinos during the rainy season.
00:12The benefit package for dengue fever is worth Php 13,000,
00:18for dengue hemorrhagic, Php 16,000,
00:21and for Php 14,300, the benefit package for leptospirosis
00:27was signed by PhilHealth President and Chief Executive Officer, Emanuele Desma,
00:32that patients will receive these benefits for the whole year.
00:37According to the last report of the Department of Health,
00:39more than 2,000 individuals had leptospirosis from January to July of this year,
00:46while 208,965 Filipinos had dengue fever.
