00:00The Department of Health sent additional medical teams to help the health emergency response teams
00:06that are currently addressing the need for medical services in Bicol Region
00:12due to the impact of Hurricane Christine.
00:15According to the DOH, an additional 37 doctors, nurses, and health professionals
00:20were sent to Naga City General Hospital
00:24while 52 were sent to Bicol Region General Hospital and Geriatric Medical Center in Caboosaw, Camarines Sur.
00:31Buses from DPWH were also included in the convoy.
00:35DOH ambulances were also sent with medical supplies.
00:41Members of the Philippine Emergency Medical Assistance Teams were also sent
00:46from different hospitals in the country.
00:49Health Secretary Teodoro Herbosa assured that the DOH has a disaster response team
00:55and that the DOH is committed to providing medical services to those in need.
