JAMIE (21) from New Jersey, describes their fun and vibrant look as 'Gay, Fun, Clowncore'. Jamie has always dressed alternatively, but they really found their style a few years ago as they progressed from 'Trad Goth' to 'Clowncore'. Jamie told Truly: "My look is very fun with bold colours, different textures, maximalist, layering different jewellery, just making things very fun and busy. I'm a clown and they are meant to be silly, weird and wacky!". Jamie admits that during highschool they were quite anxious and stood out, but since adopting this style a new confidence has found them. Despite Jamie's love for all things clown, their family unfortunately doesn't feel the same way. Jamie said: "My family aren't huge fans of my look. They once described my green hair as one of the stupidest decisions of my life". Today with the help of makeup artist Ayim, Jamie is surprising their mother Magda and grandmother Bela, by transforming from their 'Clowncore look' into a 'Barbie Glam Style'. With Magda hating Jamie's current look, will she finally be satisfied with their new style? Or will Magda quickly realise that she actually prefers Jamie's 'Clowncore' aesthetic?
