00:00In the name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
00:13I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan.
00:15In the name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
00:18We praise and glorify His noble Messenger.
00:23Respected viewers,
00:25Peace and blessings of Allah be upon you.
00:30The month of Ramadan Sharif has begun.
00:37It is a month of great blessings and mercy.
00:42Allah has blessed us to be a part of this month.
00:52Actually, this month has three types of cleansing opportunities.
01:01The first is to cleanse the stomach.
01:10There is a gap between fasting and fasting.
01:16If we eat with discipline,
01:20the toxins in the stomach are eliminated.
01:27The stomach is also cleansed.
01:33The second type of cleansing is the cleansing of the soul.
01:40When we fast,
01:43the tongue, the nose, the ears, and the other organs of the body
01:59are not to be used against the will of Allah.
02:04They are also bound by the commands of Allah.
02:10This leads to spiritual purification.
02:14The tongue is not to be used against the will of Allah.
02:26The ears are not to be used against the will of Allah.
02:30The eyes are not to be used against the will of Allah.
02:39The body is not to be used against the will of Allah.
02:43Sahib-e-Kashf-ul-Majoob,
02:46Sayyid Ali Hajweri,
02:48says that he saw the Messenger of Allah in a dream.
02:54He said that fasting is to keep the sense of smell in control.
03:02To keep the sense of smell in control is the real task.
03:11There is a hadith in the Holy Qur'an
03:15that a person who does not keep the sense of smell in control
03:23does something wrong in the next year.
03:27He remains hungry.
03:29The eyes, the ears, and the tongue are not in his control.
03:38This means that he will not get anything but hunger and thirst.
03:42This is a spiritual training
03:47through which we achieve spiritual purification.
03:52The third is the purification of wealth through zakat.
03:58These three purifications are achieved by fasting.
04:06The first is the purification of the stomach,
04:08the second is the spiritual purification,
04:10and the third is the purification of wealth.
04:12In the spiritual purification,
04:14it is necessary to keep the sense of smell in control.
04:20This is the training of the month.
04:26It is the training to keep the sense of smell in control.
04:32If we spend the remaining 11 months on this schedule,
04:36we will get used to the fact that
04:38we do not have to go against Allah's will even when we are alone.
04:43Even when we are alone,
04:45we do not have to fear Allah.
04:47A faster does not eat or drink even when he is alone.
04:51This is the fear of Allah.
04:54Allah says,
04:56I will reward you for keeping the fast for me.
05:03The rest of the good deeds are rewarded from one to seven hundred.
05:12And the good deeds are increased to seven hundred degrees.
05:16But Allah says,
05:19I will reward you for keeping the fast for me.
05:24And the reward of Allah is countless.
05:30The fact is that
05:33the worship of the day is fasting
05:40and the worship of the night is Taraweeh.
05:45And it is said in the Qur'an that
05:48the prostration is the nearness of God to man.
05:53That is, through prostration,
05:55man is close to Allah through the prostrations in the court of Allah.
06:03The 40 places of nearness,
06:09that is, the 40 prostrations of 20 Taraweeh,
06:12is the nearness of God to man.
06:15This is also found in the Taraweeh prayer of the night.
06:22Therefore, I believe that this blessed month
06:28not only reforms our body,
06:33but also our soul.
06:36And we are bound by such discipline
06:45that in the morning,
06:47with the call to prayer,
06:49we close our eyes.
06:51As soon as the call to prayer begins,
06:53we close our eyes.
06:55And as soon as the sun rises,
06:58after that, the fast begins.
07:01So, this is a regular schedule.
07:05It is also a rule of time
07:07that from this time to this time,
07:10we should not eat or drink anything.
07:12And this is a duty of Allah
07:14to reach us through the Messenger of Allah.
07:17It is a duty.
07:19Now, there can be no deficiency of any kind
07:22from our side.
07:24That I want,
07:26that the call to prayer has just begun,
07:28so I also feel like not eating anything.
07:30And if I increase it a little more,
07:32half an hour, one hour,
07:34it does not matter,
07:36then the fast will not remain.
07:38The fast will not be completed
07:40when He commands us to eat,
07:42and when He commands us to stop eating.
07:44This is called
07:46Ittaba.
07:48So, it is the Ittaba of Allah and the Messenger of Allah.
07:50And this fast
07:52has to be strengthened.
07:54That you eat lunch every day,
07:57but in this special month,
07:59you have to eat lunch.
08:02So,
08:04in essence,
08:06Allah and the Messenger of Allah's commandments
08:08are restricted.
08:10Their restriction is called Hajj.
08:12Their restriction,
08:14the restriction of the commandments is called Sakat.
08:16The restriction of their commandments
08:18is called fasting.
08:20The restriction of their commandments
08:22is called Namaz.
08:24All things will reach their highest point
08:26at the same time
08:28Allah and the Messenger of Allah's commandments
08:30will be fulfilled.
08:32We are doing this
08:34in the restriction of their commandments.
08:39This is why
08:41we have been given this month.
08:44May Allah
08:46grant us health
08:48and may we fast
08:50and pray
08:52and fulfill this.
08:54And if a person is disabled,
08:56he cannot fast.
08:58If he is sick,
09:00he is allowed by the doctor
09:02not to fast.
09:04And if he fasts,
09:06his life is in danger.
09:08So, give a donation.
09:10Give a donation to a poor person.
09:12And after that,
09:14keep in your heart that
09:16if I ever recover,
09:18I will fast.
09:20And if I do not recover,
09:22then it is Allah's will.
09:24However,
09:26if a person is able to pray
09:28and not fast,
09:30but if he is able to pray
09:32and sit down,
09:34then he should try
09:36to fulfill this.
09:38Because this is only possible
09:40in Ramadan.
09:42Apart from Ramadan,
09:44this prayer is not offered in any other month.
09:46Neither is it allowed.
09:48Fasting is only
09:50allowed in this month.
09:52If a person is sick,
09:54then he should fast
09:56in any other month.
09:58Now, here,
10:00if a person is sick
10:02and cannot fast,
10:04then
10:06we intentionally
10:08put a burden on our life
10:10and keep fasting despite being sick.
10:12Allah Almighty
10:14does not like this.
10:16We give charity.
10:18We have to take charity.
10:20When a person
10:22who performs
10:24good deeds,
10:26when he becomes
10:28sick,
10:30and for some reason
10:32he cannot perform
10:34these good deeds,
10:36then Allah Almighty
10:38says that
10:40those good deeds are written in the same way.
10:42This is because Allah Almighty has said this.
10:44So, when Allah Almighty says
10:46not to fast despite being sick,
10:48then don't fast.
10:50If you are not fasting,
10:54if you are not fasting
10:56due to illness,
10:58then you will become sick
11:00because you have
11:02disobeyed Allah Almighty.
11:04And then,
11:06if you fast in any other month,
11:08then Allah Almighty
11:10will make that day
11:12a day of Ramadan.
11:14And you will be saved
11:16So, the main thing
11:18is to follow the commandments of Allah Almighty.
11:20You have to look at that.
11:22It is not your own will.
11:24It is not your own desire.
11:26Rather, you have to follow the commandments of Allah Almighty.
11:28It is not a matter of
11:30pleasing yourself.
11:32It is a matter of Allah and His Messenger's
11:34consent.
11:36And this is only
11:38the trust of the Messenger of Allah.
11:40Allah Almighty
11:42will take you to
11:44Allah Almighty.
11:46It is said in the Qur'an,
11:52If you want to love Allah,
11:54then you should
11:56say to him,
11:58follow me,
12:00and Allah will love you.
12:02So,
12:04the only way to love Allah
12:06is to follow
12:08the Messenger of Allah,
12:10peace be upon him.
12:12So, the main thing
12:14is to follow the commandments of Allah Almighty.
12:16The Prophet said,
12:18eat with your right hand.
12:20So, you should eat with your right hand.
12:22But if your right hand
12:24is injured,
12:26and your right hand is useless,
12:28then you don't have to
12:30give it a speech
12:32with your left hand.
12:34Rather, you should eat with your right hand.
12:36Because this can be done
12:38in the form of an excuse.
12:40Now, this can be done
12:42in the same way as eating with your right hand.
12:44So, the main thing is
12:46to understand
12:48the commandments of Allah.
12:50The main thing is
12:52to follow the Messenger of Allah.
12:54And to obey
12:56the Messenger of Allah,
12:58peace be upon him,
13:00is the main thing.
13:02So, fasting
13:04is an example
13:06of how much we can
13:08fast in one month.
13:10So,
13:12we should try to
13:14get closer to Allah.
13:16Stay away from Allah for a long time,
13:18for 11 months,
13:20and try to
13:22stay close to Allah.
13:24So, may Allah
13:26enable you and me
13:28to follow the commandments of Allah.
13:30May Allah always
13:32bless you.
