00:00It's so great to have you with us because we hear that you, like you said, you're doing a lot of work while you're here.
00:06You do have a lot of work to do and that's mostly because you're promoting your latest single. Am I right?
00:11Yes.
00:12Can you tell us a little bit about it? I was listening to it. It's called In The End.
00:16And I got a chance to listen to it and I like how it's about the end and all that.
00:21But there's a part where you say it gets better. It gets better in the end.
00:25Can you tell us a little bit about the song? What's it really about? Did you write it for someone, for something, about something?
00:32I wrote it off of my life, really. I mean, a very relatable thing, I think, for everybody is that everyone goes through hard times.
00:41That's not unique to anybody. Every single person goes through a hard time and every single time it always gets better.
00:49And as much as it might feel like it never does at the moment, at that time, you'll come out the other side and always, always get better.
00:57So I actually wrote this at a time where I had just come back from a big world tour and I was reminiscing on times where I didn't think I'd make it.
01:07I didn't know where I was going. I didn't know where my life was going. And I was thinking back. I'm like, well, look, everything worked out.
01:14I know at the time it felt horrible, but it always gets better. It always works out. Every hardship I faced in my life, it's always turned around.
01:23So, yeah, I wanted to write something very hopeful that people can listen to when times are tough and hopefully remind them that it always gets better in the end.
01:32And even the melody itself is uplifting, for lack of a better word.
01:37Yeah, it's hopeful.
